Tried something new for the route released by G_heinz at www.speedrun.c...
Things changed compared to the normal route:
- Forage 9 instead of 16 berries/herbs
- Dig for 6 ores/roots on the saturday used for cutscene 1 and if needed saturday of cutscene 2+3
- Talk + gift a total of 15 times (cutscene 1 still after 2x talk+gifts and cutscene 2+3 after 10x talk+gift), skips 2 days of wed/sat which would require two non-rainy days

Never expected a harvest moon speedrun in under an hour honestly

Most of the any% categories for Save the Homeland around 1h or less. That was also a reason for me to start running them, since I was looking for a shorter game to do. A lot of the other Harvest Moon games also have shorter categories like this.

I didn’t even know they did speedruns of this game at all. Respectfully, I will be using to sleep as the sounds are very nostalgic for me. But also this time is very impressive.
