I have been aboard a working 50-B steamer (the one that is now at Rollag). This model is perfect, and runs very well. It reminds me of details I'd forgotten about. Absolutely museum quality.

Humans would have trouble building something like that these days,everything is so damned cheap,your model preserves not only history but technology of the past which we might need again in the future.i enjoyed the video tremendously thank you.

@@albertocelot Sorry I should have clarified, the valve with the ornate four-spoke wheel over the steam friction clutch cylinder at 2:51 in the video. I have one of these on one of my engines and I am looking for its manufacturer!
I run only once with steam, but I was alone and the video is bad.....The only problem was the opening of the bucket's door, because the pipe is too long and of small diameter and there is a lot of condense that acts as a plug; I don't wish to use a larger tube, it would be out of scale. The other problem is that the steam condenses everywhwre on the structure and can cause a lot of rust; I used a special coating, but it's easier to run with compressed air...........
imagine how long this thing took to build. the time and dedication to build this machine is really something

@@oldrustycars Mistaken. The one I was aboard was in Kentucky, now at Rollag Minnesota. Pretty sure there is another one at a California museum.

There was almost no drawing.....I went to Willits-CA to take pictures and measurements and then I made all the drawings in 3D CAD
