The *colour palette* is Neru's and Haku's, they aren't necessarily them. The sprites themselves are obviously meant to look like Miku, so the creator probably just liked their/the palettes and decided to use them.

But yeah, seeing as the creator used a Miku sprite they probably know that Neru and Haku exist, and decided to use their colour palette. I definitely wouldn't say that it wasn't a coincidence, but I think they're supposed to be Miku.

White starts reserved and easily flustered while Yellow is confident and rash. White learns to be more confident and Yellow learns to be reserved. By the end they are in perfect harmony with each other. At least that's my interpretation, this is a really good animation about a relationship.
