This is amazing! With a rickety workbench and minimal tools, you do better work than I do with the latest and greatest tools available from Amazon. I need to take another look at what I'm doing with woodwork and why. Thanks for posting your videos. I love them!
I watched many videos. They inspired me to create my own wood work. By the way, I made my Japanese mini table used for my work at home. Enjoy watching your videos 🤠. Take care of yourself, uncle H carpenter.
Amazingly precise works! What I like most that your tools are simple. You don't need several sophisticated chisels, saws, mallets and workbench only those old ones that you work with.
I too enjoy watching this man work, and I’m watching him use that handmade drill and drill bit and I’m thinking wow if he could use a crank drill then all of sudden I see a “Bosch” power drill laying on the floor.
mr. carpenter felicitaciones por sus habilidades y experiencia para hacer este tipo de escopladuras y espigas, pero ante todo gracias por compartir sus conocimientos, saludos desde huatabampo sonora, mexico

9:10 What is the role of these pieces of wood, probably not interlocking, because they are unnecessary here, for decoration, I guess.Besides, great job
H Carpentry, while you make some of the better videos on wood craft joinery; have you ever thought about explaining how to layout and color in the parts that you are removing? Also if you speak add some speaking parts to them also. Can you please send me a 20 page booklet on how you make and with illustrations. So we can use these terrific items. I want to build a small bunk house in the Philippines jungles where I am now living in a tent. Are you the guy who went to Japan? If so please tell me what or where I can take a class there. I am 74 years old and your video has enlighten me on what I can do just plugging along life’s road .

Undoubtedly, but, definitely, genuine experience, toppled the balance.

Parabéns, lindo trabalho, perfeito.

Why are the two keys, tapped into place beginning at 09:15, needed on the castle joint? Do they serve a structural purpose or are they ornamental?
Sem comentários para este artesão da Madeira !!

Mantap guys
This a demonstration of how to make a strong joint even stronger.
Could you do a book showing these joints with proportions and intended purposes? I would buy it.
Đúng chất thợ truyền thống Việt Nam, được học rất bài bản

رائع جدا

I am wondering why you use a wooden club to hit the chisel? Why not using a hammer?

are you sure? simple joints? can you show at least one difficult?

Flip flops are not shop working shoes
Diese Verbindung ist viel zu aufwändig. Zuviel Arbeit
A real craftsman would not be using a steel hammer but a wood mallet. Bruising the wood.
22:15 You know as well as I that the joint isn't particular good!
I really like it. Also check out Woodglut and plans.
As always. Thanks
