Truck drivers make way less then Railroad employees. Truck drivers are expected to work 60-70 hr. weeks, every week! Many work double that if they are a in a"team", or own and maintain their truck. Train crews shut down after 8hrs. Driven to a hotels, feed, and rest. Not to mention the wage, healthcare, retirement, and vacation packages enjoyed by Railroad employees. Driving the roads are far more dangerous, stressful, and demanding, then riding a train. So when you discuss American Workers, the majority are below Union jobs as far as compensation.

They did the same in Springfield, OH, hiring Haitians to work at the mfg. plants. They never offered the jobs to the residents there, because the resudents said they didn't. They brought in 20,000 to the city and overpopulated the town, gave them $20K to $50K on their EBT cards, which allowed the Haitians to buy houses, rent homes and buy all the groceries. Because of demand going up in all these areas, prices skyrocketed. Residents are suffering, while the foreigners buy new cars, house are paid for in cash, and they spend $1000s for groceries at one time.
