What is pneumonia?
In pneumonia, the lungs become infected. When pneumonia occurs, fluid or pus fills in the air sacs, due to which there may be cough with phlegm, fever, chills and shortness of breath. Bacteria, viruses, and a variety of microorganisms can cause pneumonia!
Why does pneumonia happen?
Pneumonia is mainly caused by bacteria or viruses and less commonly by fungi and parasites.
Who gets pneumonia?
Pneumonia is easily contracted by newborns, young children, people over 65 years of age, those with a weak immune system or those already suffering from any disease. If it is not treated in time, it can even kill the patient.
What are the symptoms of pneumonia?
• Flu-like symptoms are felt when you have pneumonia. These symptoms can develop slowly or
rapidly.
• The main symptom of pneumonia is cough.
• Patient feels weak and tired.
• Suffering from cough with mucus.
• The patient may also have sweating and shivering along with fever.
• The patient has difficulty in breathing, or he starts breathing rapidly.
• Chest pain.
• Feeling restless.
• Loss of appetite.
Pneumonia is caused by eating what?
• Avoid consuming things to which you are allergic.
• A person suffering from pneumonia should avoid consuming more sweets.
• Avoid including processed foods and soft drinks especially in the diet.
Pneumonia is not caused by eating what?
• The carbohydrate content in whole grain soap cereals such as quinoa, brown rice, oats, barley
provides the body with energy during this time!

• Water
• Leafy vegetables

What not to eat if you have pneumonia?
