Before my procedure, my doctor have me buy Miralax stool softener & gator aide to cleanse colon. Because that free citrate cleanse, the doctor gives, makes me gag!!So nasty..Also i always drink hot chicken & beef broth. It takes the place of food for me. Isn't it strange that if U can't eat that's seems like the time you're starving like Marvin the most.. lol
I have had 5 colonoscopies. The preparation process is much different here. We drink these fluids and take some pills that completely empty us out within like 12 - 14 hours. The we are sedated for the endoscopy process.
