Just bought this after someone linked me to your video, really good for the price. The instructions are aren't perfect though, can I plug a sound source into the microphone jack on the back? Don't wan't it to explode :-) Thanks.
It has an internal mic for sound or you can run it with a dmx512 controller. You can't plug a sound source into it . But you can adjust the mic sensitivity.

You've only got dots being a 6 eye unit .. It's the 9 eye RGB that have the patterns (and built in strobes) .. very similar but mine's physically a lot more compact . .
I have a 6 eye version that does the patterns and the line effect. Some have different diffraction gratings on them. I paid $50 AUD for mine with free shipping.

I don't mount to ceiling . I mount to the truss. And the mount hardware typically comes with the light

I havent programmed the laser but once you figure out how many channels the laser is it should be fairly easy to understand.

These one didn't have a remote so must be a different product. I think they are made well. Have a pretty cool effect and enjoy the ones I have .
