You can still find mustard seeds in the spice isle in most grocery stores. Just look into the different brands to see which ones are more natural. Also any plant nursery should carry mustard seeds. And yes on the spell scape goat. Please do.
My understanding is that "wiitch" was a negative term back then, not a general term for magical practioner. A witch was someone doing baneful work to make ur animals, crops fails etc. Wise women, mid wives, astrologers and just average ppl used magic but would not call themselves witches.

Just last night I decided I was going to make a witch bottle and then this pops up! I have these vodka filled Christmas baubles (I know, right!?!) that my mum gave me that I finally cracked into last night that spurred the idea. They will be perfect to use. Funny how things like this align!
i also kept hair, (mine) until my mom thought i was making a voodoo doll and threw it away (i was not making a voodoo doll, she doesn’t understand it’s a closed practice, she doesn’t know much about witchcraft.)

how would you go about disposing of it though? i remember that was my thought when i read it in the book, usually with things that are protective/ act as scapegoats when they catch something or blacken, that's a sign they need to be replaced right? i don't feel comfortable burying it (salt and also idk where i'd go to bury it around here 💀) and i don't think you're supposed to open sm like this in case it lets whatever ick you collected out, so i'm very confused over that 😭

What you said about mustard seeds makes me think of something I heard but with lentils. I'm French and near where my grandparents live (in Auvergne if it rings a bell to anyone) there is a storytelling festival (idk how to call this but like for a few days every year there is people telling stories or doing theatre plays in the whole city) and one time I was there with my family (I think it was targeted for children, we were there for my young cousins) and the teller told a story about imps (not sure of the translation, it's "lutin" in French, but like mischievous spirit) and then she gave us lentils because imps love to count so if you put lentils in your home, they can't steal anything because they have to count every lentil before.
So has anyone ever heard of something like this with lentils, or was it just her story and not based on folk practices?
I.....I have an extremely vague memory about some "demonic" maybe Disney, old old Disney devil character counting beans (I know they are different, but still "beans" in brain! )...cartoonish though for sure...or an old Looney tunes type animation.... only remember that bit. Your memory triggered mine! :)

How do you properly dispose of a witches bottle??
once you open it ,it loses its power so just disposal as normal trash , but i bury and just give energy once a month or do another evry 3 years . if you unbury ur old make sure u open .

How about insect parts and snake skin? Couple years ago I found butterfly wings on the ground at my home and I found snake skin also. I have butterflies 🦋 wings in a blank book and snake skin in a jar.

I was taught iron nails and urine in the jar and then you bury it upside down near your door to prevent witches (aka bad magic, not necessarily all magic) from entering your home.
When you are finish with the protection bottle what do I do with it next?

So I was just wondering.. so my friend wanted to start witchcraft with me but she can't use candles or incense and I was wondering what she could do.
I have a question, if I was gifted a tarot deck from my passed uncle. Should I cleanse it if I want to use it? I feel the deck pull me to use it, but when I do... I don't get good readings. I don't want to rid the deck of him. But I do want to be able to use it. If you could answer this one for me, cause I'm stumped
You can cleanse it with sage, incense, or whatever works best best for you. Even new decks should be cleansed.
Can I do it without liquid ingredients?
Ceisiwr is a Welsh name and its pronounced a little closer to Kay-Shaw .. which is not totally correct, but y'know, close enough :) I dont have any of the books you mentioned here I may have to search then down

You would probably feed a servitor or a poppet! Witch jars probably don’t need to be fed, but if so, burn a candle on top of it or give it a cup of water

it would be awesome if you could do a video on what incense is endangered and what incense is safe to use. a breakdown on incense, endangerment, and cultural appropriation and the best tools to use for witches who arent tied to any culture, folk practice or traditions.

I do, I have bottles for myself my partner and my son, my first jar was a combination jar for all 3 of us.
I used our hair and nails, 6 pins, 3 pieces of a broken mirror, 3 rusty nails, a razor, mustard seeds, black pepper, a spider (I keep jars of dead insects and spiders) cloves, cayenne pepper and some piss to top it off.
I also seal the lid with wax and bury it (burying is ok if youre not using salt or vinegar)
