Yesterday i got caught 2 times in a row in a toe hold, but i loved it;) in the way that i love when people do new stuff on me so i can learn how to defend it, i'm a very flexible guy and have only been training BJJ for about 4,5 months, i didn't know you could spin out of the toe hold tho, great info!!
I just released a video on Buchecha's toe hold attack and now I'll send my team mates the link to this escape. Congratulations I see you aren't too far from 12,000 subscribers! Growing fast,You still deserve much more👍
Thanks for the video, i'm a blue belt and kind of afraid of the most recent tournament as it allows bicep slicers, toe holds and calf slicers and I still don't have experience with them as i'm a newer blue belt. I think i'll just tap when I get to those positions at the tournament haha!
That strategy is fine as comps aren't as serious as people make them out to be. IF you want to tap just tap or use it as an invitation to learn these moves and add them to your arsenal. (-: Coach Tom Davey

Thanks! I will definitely take this and hope to put them in my arsenal this year :D
I got my ankle popped last night. Couldn't tap fast enough. I'll be sure to couple this with the tap in the future!
Same! 😂 now I have a sprain but not bad.
Another day, another great video:)
At 0:50 you lift you knee so he can get his bottom leg out and spin. If you do not lift your knee how would he be able to spin?
U help me so much, thanks a ton
My absolute pleasure! HAPPY ROLLING (-: Coach Tom Davey

You're welcome!
How would you defend the second option if instead of a toe hold you went for a leg lace submission?
We have separate videos on defending these (-:

Man seeing feet break is always crazy! (-: Coach Tom Davey

the best defense against toe hold:
not to have any toe
