Commander Farsight is still among my favorite characters in the 40K universe. My first forays into WH40K was in the early days of the Tau being released -- his Crisis Battlesuit was among the first models I owned (alongside a few Fire Warrior squads).

The new Space Marine 2 video game has gotten me back into WH40K after almost 30 years. I've dug out my old Raven Guard miniatures and am thinking I'll start painting some new ones. I've been greatly enjoying getting back into the lore and I realise I've always loved this universe. Of all the 40K lore out there, your video's are my favourite way to enjoy the lore so thank you for all the work you put into them! The Emperor protects!

Puretide has a lore-inaccurate face because AI image generators are sloppy, but I still wanted a picture of him in that meditative pose. The fingers thing though seems to vary from artist to artist. If I remember rightly, they are meant to have three fingers and one thumb, but I see plenty of art where people give them five digit hands.

The Tau are really interesting but there are a lot of very annoying things, especially combat and war is so annoying, first the Tau is clamped to be totally overpowered for no reason, the human empire of man both have low technology and some of the best weapons and technology, most of the time you hear about a rail cannon is is claimed to be superior to the human empire has, despite the biggest Tau rail cannon only being considered on par with the greatest weapon macro cannon of the empire, it’s normal that there are untrustworthy caricatures and propaganda for every faction, but normally it is constructed as being there truth and might be wishful thinking, most often with the Tau it’s prevented as fact, and the fact that one Tau in a new battle suit is alone capable of boarding a space marine character flagship battle barge, and enormous ship with void Shields’s up at battle stations, which would mean enormous amounts of anti boarding guns ready, it might only have a few spaces marines on, but tens of thousands of human crew and lots of Adeptus mechanicus personnel, one tau could bord it an cut into it and on a tip information find his way to the warp drive and destroy it, and escape 😂, but then the story has to balance 😂 and the ship sails into the hart of the Tau fleet before it is lost, which destroys a large part of the Tau fleet billions of Tau dead 😂 couldn’t someone have helped the writer with some 40 k realism, not even our realism but pls at least 40k over the top standards 🙃 the concept is good but it becomes annoying with the Tau is unironically the best of all, without the ability for warp travel or the web way, AI is op, but apparently machine spirits are not op despite having many of the same functions, a less free intelligence then AI but definitely the biggest ones are of enormous power. I have nothing against everyone looking down on humans but in other fractions it is don in a much better way, instead of this Tau is the best unironically.
