I think I’ve been watching this for almost 16 years. Sometimes it disappears but then it reappears. These guys came to Brisbane Queensland and taught some classes where I’m from.
Sammy Davis Jnr. - Love me or Leave Me. The one in the cap is Max Pitruzzella. I think this was filmed at Barswingona (Barcelona Swing Camp) around 2003 or 2004. I believe the routine is a parody of a performance by an original by Kevin St. Laurent and Carla Heiney.. I prefer this version :)
Ohmigosh! This is absolutely fantastic! It's always fun to watch people do the swing but I've noticed that in hiphop the people don't seem to have knees, just jelly legs so it's amazing to watch swing moves just go so fluidly. This is awesome! The fact that it's two guys as well just makes my day. It's nice to know that there are guys out there who aren't afraid to dance something other than regular hiphop. Makes me happy. :D
This is the most feel good thing I've ever seen. How brilliant to spare these guys up! Sooooooo well done. Guy in grey shirt at 2:35-2:38 is everything about watching people dance. Subtle moves...big effect. Big smiles!!!! :D :D :D :D
I woke up feeling a little depressed, but after going over to U Tube, this just came up! It made so Happy to see someone having just dancing and having such Fun! I Love it! My mood change immediately for Good! Thanks again, Great Job!
You guys should be on America's got talent or Whatever country has got talent show! But the best part of it was that you were having lots of fun, and that speaks to all.
Holy shiiiiiit.... the only thing that could possibly make this look more cool is to do it with a female partner instead... but even then... This has to be the hardest routine to learn. I've been learning the combination of Lindy Hop, East Coast swing and Charleston for a lil over 3 years now and I don't compare to this at all, not even a tiny bit. I'm so saving this vid in my favs and gonna try to pick up on a few moves from here. Rated 5 stars for sure, thanks for posting this vid.
@runemima It's Max Pitruzzella and Thomas 'Tommy' Blacharz. There's hundreds of clips of them on TH-cam. Two of my favourite dancers. They've both partnered Alice Mei, another world class dancer. All three come from Montpelier in France (there must be something in the tap water there!). Tommy and Alice are great teachers and very friendly too.
absolutely brilliant. wish i could dance last that. could watch that for hours. post more. someone tell me if there's more of them or that on you tube,. cheers.
You guys are great!!!! I thought Ellen DeGeneres would probably love seeing this video and I emailed the link to her. Why not! All the best and more to you all
I couldn't find better words to describe this video and all the things you just said ^^ It's been 6 years since I 1st saw this awesome video and I still enjoy it like it was the 1st time I see it =) If all people could enjoy life ans each other like these too ^^
To the dude he says there isn't Hip Hop in here, he's generally right, but this IS swing dancing. Hip Hop dancing as he thinks it exists today existed a long time ago. Look up: Earl "Snake Hips" Tucker. and also look up the video that's called. 1920's to 1940's Breakdancing Origins etc.
You're pretty funny, actually. I love baiting people like you. You never fail to disappoint me when I need a good laugh :) P.S. Saying fuck every other word and calling someone "idiot" and "dummy" and a junior high kid from Oklahoma as if being from Oklahoma would be an insult doesn't really make you sound like an adult. Just saying. But I really enjoyed your outburst all the same :D
@urethaneunicorn They obviously have some breaking experience and throw maybe three moves total between the two of them for the whole dance, the rest is Lindy Hop, which is the original Swing Dance. And if you were actually a dancer yourself, you'ld know that what they were doing is nearly impossible to do while drunk. educate yo self. Look Up Whiteys Lindy Hoppers on here.
Hip hop as a dance style is simply a dance to hip hop music, much like swing is a dance to swing music. Both are umbrella terms for a myriad of dancing techniques and styles. Still, dancing is about having fun and being creative, not semantic. Hip hop is fun to dance because you can pretty much add anything into it. I don't think the original b-boyer worried too much about calling their dances gymnastics or hip hop...
Great act, fantastic dancing, really enjoyable. Shame about all the uncontrollable laughter! Kinda degrades the earnestness and sincerity of the performers!
u guys are so talented, and sweet. hope u have somehow kept developing it (since '06). (don't need any more of that pseudo-violent, macho style ending move though! not only out of the overall spirit of the piece, but also felt a bit tacked-on to please macho and homophobic types. ah yes, but that was '06! ha.)
I don't think you insulting stranger is going to help your argument at all. How is seriously investing into something analogous to dying for someone? I, for instance, spend a great deal of time into programming because I have fun doing it. I sure as hell am not going to die for the advancement of C. I only agree this with you, having fun is emotionally necessary.
Don't EVER take this down. Still my favorite after all these years!!!!
Mine too)))
Me too!!
yes pls don't ever take this down, I saw this maybe 8 yrs ago and here I am 2023, still one of my favorite!!
I think I’ve been watching this for almost 16 years. Sometimes it disappears but then it reappears. These guys came to Brisbane Queensland and taught some classes where I’m from.
AMEN! I would almost kill to dance with this blend of athleticism, joy, humor, grace, etc etc. Totally breathtaking and inspiring.

This is phenomenal, hilarious! The perfect kind of dance for Krazy Kat and Ignatz Mouse. Offisa Pup can't be far away... Love it.

Incredible. These two guys knocked my socks off and made me smile from ear to ear. What amazing grace and talent!!

Как же это восхитительно! Сколько лет пересматриваю, зажигает как в первый раз. Идеально все, и музыка, и энергия, и чувство юмора ❤️🔥
I love to watch two guys lindy hopping together...so smooth and yet so amazingly infused with energy!
I'm still laughing in disbelief and admiration. How awesome is this? So awesome. Major, MAJOR props.
Fantastic dancing and done with a great sense of who they are! You guys rocked!!!
you two are my kindred spirits
смотрю в 2022 и улыбаюсь от уха до уха!!!
I woke up feeling a little depressed, but after going over to U Tube, this just came up! It made so Happy to see someone having just dancing and having such Fun! I Love it! My mood change immediately for Good! Thanks again, Great Job!

Wow! I can tell they have lots of respect for both hip hop and swing styles. Is there any more video footage of them?
Great fusion of dance styles well delivered, nice one!
Man. All the cool kids know Lindy. I really gotta learn me some Lindy, East Coast is getting boring...
Props to these dudes, you rock!
wow wow wow wow!!!! fabulous!! this is coolness personified!!!!
D: wow.... brilliant, Absofuckinglutely brilliant!!! Why this doesn't have views in the millions is beyond me.
I believe they're Tommy Blacharz & Max Pitruzella.
One of the guys, the leader, is Max Pitruzzella, check his dances with Annie Trudau, they are among the most amazing Lindy Hop dancers on earth...

Almost identical; very nice, though.
I don't think you insulting stranger is going to help your argument at all.

Other than the dress style, there was no hiphop in this, it was all swing, baybee!
