      Hey Steve. I’m so happy you stumbled by and found the video helpful. Logic certainly has some super tools for adding great character and tone to your bass.
      I’m currently messing with the Waves CLA bass plugin and have a tutorial on that also. Definitely worth checking out the video if you have time. Thanks for the awesome feedback. Cheers 😀

      Bro I have received your email and will definitely get back to you on this. The video was from quite some time ago so I’ll have to try and figure it out as I often discard the Logic projects after making the video 😂
      However I recon this is a project on my hard drive somewhere. Hit you back on the email soon 🙏🏾

      Hey thanks a lot for your feedback. Yes Logic has some great options for shaping the tone of your bass recordings. Another great plugin I use for effecting my bass is the Waves CLA Bass plugin. It really is smooth and easy to use. I know they were selling at a discount over the new year period for around $29 down from $99. Anyway happy bass recording. Cheers 😀

    Nice vid. Good info. I've been playing for over 40 years and recently gotten into some pedals. For live shows I just have a HPF and a simple compressor. Are there many pro players using the computer for bass sounds live? I can see the value of all that for studio work. I've never thought much about studio equipment, just like the engineer deal with it, but I can see value in being more involved. Thanks again for a good vid.

    • @MTTC
      @MTTC  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Charles. Thanks for such a great comment. You pose a great question which I’ve never looked into to be honest. I have not been playing live for a very long time now and I don’t actually know anyone who uses the guitar or bass fx plugins in a live setting. I know a number of keyboardist who do play software instruments live but not bassists. Maybe it’s the confidence of a stomp box not going wrong whereas computers have been known to crash on occasion. But I think that latency in the audio signal might also be a key factor. Great question though. Cheers for your input 😀

    Great vid. Why a stereo track for the bass?

    • @MTTC
      @MTTC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for your feedback. The stereo track is created automatically due to the plugins used. The bass itself is recorded onto a mono track. Cheers 😀

      Without question. The compressor is an amazing tool for livening up a bass part when used correctly. Thanks for the feedback. Cheers 😀
