    Very helpful guide. I'm just wondering, when writing scripts for animation, do you still use INT and EXT? Is there anything specific for animated films?

      Let me delve into that to make sure. But i am assuming that answer would still be yes

      I will include some links for some articles I have found but basically the script format is the same. For animation scripts though they like you to be a little more visually distinct with your wording, so that the artists can draw what you are imagining.

    Are there no format shortcuts like the ones used in final draft, for example: tab, enter, tab-tab etc? It's so much faster than mouse, point, scroll, click, type, mouse, point, scroll, click, type. Even Trelby has it.

      I will do a short video on it shortly. But here is what I would do. Next to Scenarist in the top left corner, click the file button to the right of it. Scroll down to export to. Click over on the menu to export script. Now you can export it as several different things one of them is PDF. If you want to print a copy just go down to print previews and then you should be able to print it. I hope that helps!

      Thank you for the video, I think I might have a solution. If you look at the two character names that are not coming up, they are not formatted as character. Jimmy's name is in the middle of the page and the two that are to coming up as characters are right hand justified. So i think it is simply making sure those two missing characters are just formatted as character names. So they should be in the middle of the page just like the other names. Give that a try and see if that helps.

      @@minimini1275 The standard answer is that Final Draft is what a lot of people use in the industry. However, that is because Final Draft paid for the market share. The best software to get is the one you will use. I was just talking to Paul Guyot, professional screenwriter, and he uses Fade IN Pro, which works as well.
      I haven't heard a lot of people using Kit Scenarist or Story Architect in the professional ranks yet but I haven't asked a lot of people either. My recommendation is to get a lot of the free versions and see which ones works best for you and then make a purchased based on that.

      @ScreenwritingScribe  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you I am glad you like the content. Here is what I found on doing dual dialogue.
      To create dual dialogue, the dialogue text must follow immediately after one another. . First highlight the first dialogue and press control +shift+ L which will move the dialogue to the left side. I hope that helps!

      @@ScreenwritingScribe Hi there! Thanks for the video! Did you try doing the dual dialogue in it yourself? It's either I don't understand what do you mean by "the dialogue text must follow immediately after one another", or it doesn't seem to work. I tried highlighting the dialogue and pressing ctrl+shift+L, but nothing happened.

    • @ScreenwritingScribe

      @@KotleKettle I did more research and it looks like the initial information I had was incorrect. After combing over their archives I found that they are no going to be putting dual dialogue in Kit Scenarist instead they are going to put it into their story architect app. When I tried to access this new app, my browser will not let me go there because it tells me it is unsafe.
