Zeroing perk works like this. If it's says 75m and you aim at an animal at 75m the bullet will hit where your aiming. If the animal is further than 75m the bullet will hit a little lower than where your aiming. If it's closer than 75m the bullet will impact a little bit higher than where your aiming. It applies the same way for the other yardages as well. So for example if the animal is at 200m set the zero to 150m and aim just a bit higher than normal because the bullet will drop a little bit over the extra 50m. The zeroing perk is very useful for longer ranges but in most situations between 0-200m you could just leave it on 150m aim a little bit lower for less than 150m and a little bit higher for anything over 150m. Hope this helps people understand the zeroing perk.

Zeroing IRL works by tilting the scope. Tilt forward put the scope closer to the barrel. This in turn would raise the barrel because you always look through the scope straight. So this would be "zeroing" up in metres. Its exactly the opposite for zeroing down.

Partway through the stream someone commented saying they had gotten a diamond, but on a multiplayer hunt and Flinter said that was too bad that it was on multiplayer. Why is that? Can you not mount animals from multiplayer hunts or what? Also big thanks to Flinter for all his videos in general and this series in particular. It has helped me decide that I am going to buy this game soon (after being on classic for a long time) and how to go about it then. (I do really want to know about the multi player thing and any perks or downsides of multiplayer hunts if possible. I'm planning on mainly doing multiplayer hunts with my brother.)

Farming sim I used to play when I had an Xplay account. I been looking at Ranch Sim though. It looks really cool. You can ranch, hunt, farm update your buildings.

How do u change the zeroing for a gun
You have to get the perk first. Then activate the perk. Then while having a rifle equiped you press the F key by default to cycle through the zeroing distances. First perk level gives you 75m and 150m. Second perk level adds 300m
