Twin nose board with brand new bushings is really nice. If you show no preference to which way it's pointing, your bushings wear evenly, and you have a truly equal board. Amazing when you shove, big spin/flip. Your board is always the right way up.

In 2002 when i was learning fliptricks, I noticed that the bigger nose when used as a tail made the tricks easier but i still was bad at Nollie and switch so I kept using the tail as a tail and the nose as a nose when in natural, still using the nose for nollie and nose as a tail when switch because it made it easier, especially switch heels

i was used to seeing '80s boards with a big tail and hardly any nose, so when i started skating popsicle shapes in the '90s i skated them backwards for a long time. i still do sometimes, kinda depends on what i'm doing
I ride the board backwards for certain tricks, as they give me a better pop/control... Any pop shuvit variation and any switch trick must be popped off the nose of the board. Feels great this way.

The muscle car reason, I plead the 5th. When I started skating I did it until someone told me I was skating the wrong way. Those PRod boards are gnarly too, I can barely one my tricks. It’s a fun board but I keep getting hit on my shiens.
I actually try every trick off the nose and tail. Certain 50/50 tricks I like off the nose and I do nolie shuv manuals off the Tail cuz for some reason I land a manual better that way skating on different ends of the board can actually help fix some tricks you're trying. It really helps if you're doing runs or skatepark skating. Think of a hammer and how it has two different ends for different tasks
I skate my non-symmetrical popsicles backwards too. I started doing it way back in the day with the thought that it’d take me longer to razor tail the nose down because it’s so much bigger.
i have done this for years and the homies think im crazy, used to skate old girl decks back in the day and them tails where so small i would flip my mike mo deck around and ever sence then ive been stuck on that

I used to ride my board backward just for flip tricks like kickflips/heelflips and their 180s variations. All the rest I would ride the normal way.
