People bitching about the recruiting class need to just look at the last two years. Bro we’re on fire for 2025 and 2026 is starting to look really good.
The 2024 recruiting class was not great bro. The 2025 class yes, unreal class, top 5 when Ty Haywood commits. 2026 isn’t a success until number 1 overall recruit in 2026 Jackson Cantwell and number 1 RB Savion Hiter have committed.
My big concern is loosing our really promising young OL to the portal if we stack our line with portal players. Our boys did great against a really good Alabama DL
I've never thought we needed four WRs like alot of people -- we really just need two solid starting caliber veterans to help our young QB. We have a lot of talent at WR, it's just unproven. Two veterans that could buy time for a couple of the younger guys to step up is all we need. I really do expect at least one of Moore, Goodwin, Bell, or even Marsh will be a significant contributor. And while I still think a "sure thing" starting guard would have been the best addition we could make, we do need a 1-year veteran tackle that can at least be a solid back up. In other words, if we get at least one of Tru/Robinson/Greene and Pete, I'll be happy. Anything else -- another WR, another CB, and even another OL -- would be gravy.
