    Honey, I shrunk the Preci! 🙂
    I recently purchased the 5-string version and I really love it!
    Although the B-string sucks a bit...

    I own one of those! I love it. Kala says they're gonna to be coming out with a set of custom flatwounds for it. Now, all you need is a Spark Mini amp and a set of wireless transmitters, and you're good to go. It will all fit in your carryons. I love the idea of stuffing clothes around it to protect.

      Cool! Do you mainly use it at home or do you also use it in a band set up? :-)

      @JazMoss I take it to ukulele jams. In a real band, heavens no. Kala just came out with their custom flatwounds for it, and I ordered a set.

      @@JazMossAfter playing heavy Fender Bass’s for 50 years about the 5 years ago I discovered the Kala acoustic/ electric Bass’s, Gold Tone Micro Bass and the Hofner Bass. My back and playing actually have never been better. I use them for everything from Blues, Jazz, Bluegrass, Country and Rock. The Black Thunder strings sound best on my Ubass. Flatwounds on the Hofner. People are shocked at the almost upright sound that comes out of that small Ubass. Don’t knock it until you try it. Right strings for the right instruments does make a huge difference.

    Hi, nice video! Did the strap come with the bass, or did you have to order that separately?

    How does the sound level from the G string compare to the other three strings?

    Hey Jaz.
    For those of us who receives your news/subscribe-mails: There you write that this bass a 33-inch bass. Is that correct? It looks smaller than that. I have tried 32 inches and 30 inches. To me this one looks more like the latter. Not just the look but the differences you describe compared usual 34 inches also indicates that it's more than an inch's difference. 😕
    Btw: This is or can be important for me. I'm getting older and my strength and tendons are not as they used to be, so for that reason a small-scale bass is becoming more relevant. 👍

    Don't you need to bring an amp?

    • @JazMoss
      @JazMoss  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Good question. It depends if I'm just recording or casually playing I'll just bring my audio interface, laptop, and headphones when traveling. If I'm doing a gig abroad there's usually an amp already there. 🙂
