After many years I'm still surprise about the versatility of ths artist... and I ask myself why Conchita is not a planet famous figure, yet... I mean, singing everything, doing everything, in all music gender, in all musical shade, no matter if feminine or masculine voice... and each cover is a masterpiece...
I wonder the same thing. Conchita/Tom is such an amazing talent! So much to give and I listen to her/his music every single day since I became aware of Conchita last March, I believe. I've been addicted ever since! What an amazing voice and like you said, the versatility! It's truly amazing!!

I, too, feel everything you so poetically wrote. I think I fell in love with Conchita the first time I heard her sing 'Rise Like a Phoenix' that someone sent me. That first week I became aware of her, probably maybe 6 weeks ago or so, I tried to collect every song I could find of hers and made playlists with her songs, interviews and documentaries, fan videos, etc. Then only a week later, she turned into Wurst and I've been heart broken. I don't really care for her new look or her new music. She was so sweet, poised, seemed so caring, radiated beauty, and really touched my soul when she sang or spoke. I couldn't, still can't, stop listening to her music. I bought both CD's, "From Vienna with Love" and "Conchta" and listen to them every time I go in the car and also at home. I can't stop listening to her "Conchita" songs and looking at her in her fan videos. I'm heartbroken and feel like she has died. I just want her to be happy and if this is what she needs, then I should be happy for her, but selfishly I miss her terribly. I wanted to hear/see so much more of the old Conchita that I loved so much. Oh, I know she's still the same person inside and I still love her but I just miss the old Conchita so much. Perhaps you can relate to what I'm feeling? Her fan video called "Ocean of Beauty" shows absolutely stunning pictures of her and I can't stop watching it.
