Own 2 of the Two-man tents (fire sale on AMZ for $25.49, couldn't pass it up). I've backyard camped with them and an Intex Queen Airbed and think it's surprisingly decent. Only issue was filling the Airbed; got an intex electric inflator which comes with a long flex tubing; solved the issue :) Love your vids, shocked you don't have more of a following and tons of likes. Keep up the good work!!!
Hi John, wow $25 is such a steal!!! I would love to get more for that price as well. Oooh and thank you so much for the tip on the tubing, I definitely didn't think of that, and it's so useful to know! 😊 And thank you so much for your lovely comment, I'm really happy that you enjoy my vids, and I'll definitely keep doing my best!! 😊
You test out a lot of tents! I have this Coleman 2p sun dome tent. I’ve camped with it 2 or three times. I haven’t experienced rain with it yet. I also got the REI xl camp dreamer deluxe after watching your video on the double.
Another great review. 😊 Just purchased one for $24.99 on sale at Costco. My mother-in-law made fun of our 12 person Core Instant lighted cabin tent as too glamping for her and she wanted her own small no frills tent. This should be perfect for her. Thanks again 😊
Thank you so much Amra! 😊 oh wow that’s a great price!! Wish I had access to a Costco too 😂 let me know how your mother in law likes the tent! I’d love to know 😊
Me and my girlfriend took this tent to Shawnee National Forest and set up over a mile in the woods. Didn't carry that well into the woods as expected. Around midnight it started pouring. Lightning so bright it looked like daytime. Woke up multiple times through the night from thunder rolling and the rain. Next morning around 7:30 we woke up in a completely dry tent. Not sure if I got a good one, or if it was just the luck that kept me dry in the worst Storm I've been stuck outside in.
Hi Logan! Wow I'm really happy to hear that it kept you dry, or that might have been a disaster 😔 Thank you so much for taking the time to let me know! I appreciate it 😊 Hmm could it be due to the tree cover or something? Just spitballing here hahaha
Thank you so much HD! It really means a lot that you liked the video and all the info! I really hope that you like this tent! Did you get it on Amazon? It's SO cheap right now hahaha (I think I paid double the price it is now) 😂
@@CampingGuidance I bought it from Costco. I think i must have spent atleast 3 hours online in past week and am not even as price-conscious. Your video hit all the right points needed to decide. Looking forward to the tent and using it often.
Nice! I wish I had a Costco around too haha. I'm really glad that I could hit all the points you needed! Let me know how you like the Sundome if you have the time, I'd love to hear your opinion on it 😊
@Knights Templar Hi Paul! Thank you for taking the time to leave me a comment, I'm really glad that you like the review! 😊 And I hope you like the Sundome as much as I do! 😊
@@CampingGuidance Thanks 🙂. I ordered it from Amazon yesterday. It arrives sometime today. I'll probably set it up in the living room. I needed a lightweight tent for backpacking. It was only £56 New. Thanks for the video. It really does help. Paul 🙂🇬🇧
@@knightstemplar8977 You're most welcome Paul! I'm glad it helped 😊 Let me know how it goes! I hope it's lightweight enough for you for backpacking, I didn't think Coleman tents could be used for backpacking, but I guess this one isn't too heavy!
Hey Bill! Thanks for the great suggestion 🥰 maybe one day I will! I actually have another video that reviews tents under $100, all of them are from Amazon. Does that work for you? Here’s the link: th-cam.com/video/WiudJgO-ZfM/w-d-xo.html
So I don’t know if you have this problem with your Coleman Sundome tent, I have the four person and all I have is a cot and a table in it, the spot where the steaks go in the little o ring snap right off mine so now I cannot set mine up again. Do you recommend the six person Sundome or the Skydome
This tent looks like the ventilation would be great. Did you repair the patchwork you showed coming loose, or let it be? Oh, and good job on the no mask segments of the video. Getting brave, ey? 😁
Hi Jesse, thanks for another awesome comment, really appreciate it! 😊 And yeah! I find that Coleman tents tend to be pretty breezy. I just let the seam be hahahah. I don't really know how to repair something like that (first time coming across this) so unless it starts falling apart, I'm just gonna leave it for now haha. And thank you!! It felt so nerve wracking and increased my filming time honestly, but I wanted to experiment with it and see how it goes XD
My tent was shipped to me months ago. I set it up and left it out during a bit of rain and it leaked. Where should I start water sealing or proofing. What is some good market items?
Hi Ryan, I would definitely start by sealing the seam between the tent fabric and the bathtub flooring, that's usually the first place it leaks. You can use the Gear Aid sealant for this. Depending on how much rain you're expecting, you might want to also coat the tent with waterproofing spray. Hope this helps! 😊
@@CampingGuidance thanks Guidance. I know the storm is gonna roll bye us here this week. I will get the tent out later and start seem sealing. I think I have spray, but didn't know if I remembered someone always telling me to waterproof a tent. Why are expensive tents waterproof and a product like Coleman sometime's going to leak? Do you really have a Weathermaster tent. How is that?
@@RSmith-td4ty Hi Ryan, you can call me Liz :) I think REI has some great resources on how to seam seal and waterproof spray your tent, so I'd check out those resources if you need more info on those topics. I think Coleman tents aren't too bad in the rain, with their inverted seams (their WeatherTec system, I think that's what it's called). But these inverted seams don't work as well for me as seam sealant/tape. And the WeatherMaster is a great tent in almost all aspects too, but suffers from the same problem under rain. The rainfly on the WeatherMaster is even smaller so it will leak even more, unfortunately. Hope this helps Ryan!
@@CampingGuidance Liz thank you. I hope one day I see the larger tents you own. I seen the Evanston. I do like the mesh with the porch. Rain could early be swept out using a broom I'm 😃 sure. Well The Weather master has been my favorite tent. In Japan they have tons of Coleman designs I have hardly ever seen before, but with a culture always camping there are sure to be tons of tents. Maybe Amazon. Jp would sell some. I dunno. Thanks. I will start Liz with seem sealing after Ian passes. Stay safe
@@RSmith-td4ty You're most welcome Ryan! I actually have quite a few big tent reviews on my channel, like all my 10 person tents haha they're pretty big! And yeah the Evanston is nice for sure. Ooh are you from Japan? I'm headed there in a few months, so I'll keep a look out for camping gear and Coleman designs. Stay safe as well Ryan, and happy camping! 😊 Please feel free to reach out if you ever have any other questions!

Great Review, more information than Coleman put in their video. thank you!
It was my pleasure Reuben! I'm really happy that this could help you out 🥰
Hi. Can you make a video about good camping gears! Thanks!

Super bien explicado ❤👌🏼

I prefer the Sundome! I should have that exact comparison somewhere on my channel. So sorry about the o ring though I've never had that problem :(
@@CampingGuidance Good news we got a full refund from Coleman and I have the 4 person darkroom tent and I love it
