i already had this song on my playlist but a few hours ago I forgot the name of the song and most of the lyrics so I was annoyed trying to find for the past 2 hours because the melody was stuck in my head, finally i'm here cause i clicked on my playlist songs and finally found the right start for the song since i knew what the beginning sounded like
Absolutely gorgeous! Still want a version that breaks back into this captivating hook after the slowed down part at the end, and then just rides and fades out on it. But this song is so dope and been jamming all week at work. Now waking up days off on Thanksgiving and listening again haha. Happy Bird everyone! :)
Never heard of this artist until a year ago or so...I like the rhythm, beat, the way the instruments are being played, and the song itself...and that, "Six Million Dollar Man" jump up onto the wall...Oh, and, "What not to do" in a grocery store...LOL...Not to take a bottle of catsup from the shelf and put catsup on your burger...LOL...Notice that the cap was closed, then when they came back to the bottle of catsup the cap was open, LOL

All I would do is make an extended version where the music starts up again and comes back in, instead of tapering off at the end. But the notes and sounds in this song as well as the overall groove and melody as well as that hook are exceptionally beautiful and catchy!
Okay so we have "Pumped Up Kicks" (Foster the People) and "Airborne" (Cut Copy) and now this that came up. What is this style called? Is there a name for this genre already? It's like groovy bass lines (which is so critical) carrying a 'deep and melancholy', 'dreamy' and 'airy' feel'. I'm really loving all these but if this style and genre doesn't already have a name already we should try and think of one. If it does please let me know what you guys call it but I was proposing something like "Ethereal Groove" or "Melodic Ethereal Groove" on the Roosevelt - Montreal video, which also has these same elements and style and where I started wondering if this genre has been named. (I wrote this on the Montreal video which is why it sounds like I'm talking about another song and mentioning Airborne while watching it)
