Sand blast the whole thing, then LINE-X the body. Never worry about a scratch again... Looks like a fun project

My suggestion for paint. I recommend Army green .... a lone white star on the hood, and the crossed ammo logo on both doors. If it's a going ballistic truck, it should carry the crossed ammo, prominently on both doors.

How lucky you are with the laws - it is almost impossible to register a car with such changes in Russia. And I would like to ride such a monster! :)

And for a significant upgrade, it is necessary to pass a safety certification, and this is very difficult and expensive, so no one is doing this. Hunters drive their huge cars on trailers to the forest and only drive them there.

@@jmac3693 From the point of view of road safety, this is correct, because it is unknown what homegrown mechanics can do in garages with a car and how this car will then behave on a public road. Personally, I want to be sure that the next car on the road on the move did not fall off and did not fail, which can lead to accidents and casualties.
From another point of view, such strict requirements do not allow small workshops to develop to improve cars or to prepare for hunters, off-road enthusiasts.
As always, there is no golden mean.
I would rhinoline the purple black. Then do a old school green camo up above. Rhinoline the floor inside the cab then with a bazooka green interior and jams. Add a big waving flag on the hood. Address those shock towers. Go with a digital dash to bring it up to modern look. Maybe a carbon fiber mount for it. That whole center part that houses the drop box needs to come down the angles for each shaft is steep. Your technically turning each pinion as far as it can in either direction. The bearings will wear fast.

@Егор Беляков да не братан, что за колхоз? Её явно не ради красоты покупали, эта тачка уж точно не для езды по городу и понтов хромированым бампером. А раскраска под танк и красная звезда на боку хотя бы весело смотреться будет)
We are kind of going through a thing in America right now. We are trying to get Communist out of Colorado and other states, so the "red star" thing isn't really beneficial at this time.

If it were me, I'd frame off that thing and do a lot of sandblasting and painting. Indeed it has good bones and is worth that type of commitment. I understand that's a lot more involved than most people would jump into, but I'd do it and keep it for life.

There is a another TH-cam channel that I think you guys should reach out to. That channel is Heavy D Sparks. They are also known as the diesel Brothers. They have or can get you any parts that you need I believe for that pickup. Whether it be dash, interior parts, suspension parts whatever you may need they can probably get it for you.

Looks like you have a lot of sandy colors around so maybe paint it in sandy khaki color?

Tan on the body the rims as well with black on the outer rim and tube frame the engine block black with tan valve covers and air cleaner cover your logo on the doors and hood Maybe red tint on the windows

You can get a cheap chrome kit for that bb Chevy...includes valve covers,timing cover and oil pan....throw a set of noisey timing gears in while the timing cover is off....😎

black and army green is ok but I would prefer a camo pattern. anyway be sure to use matt and not glossy paint!

@@GoingBallistic You will have a drive line vibration that will eventually wear out the rear lower u-joint, pinion seal, and pinion gear... you should be ok if you don't try to go mud skipping or run high speeds.
