I'm a Pisces sun and a Gemini rising...actually, as a pisces, I do think I need a therapist in my life. I'm a very complex person with an influx of realizations and emotions and ideas and it can maddening or overwhelming. Pisces are hyper aware of the universe around them. I've worked for years on my Pisces traits to the point where I'm the friend who gives others wake up calls and help them snap out of themselves and stay grounded because I've always struggled with this. I have yet to work on my need to escape reality. It's a very self destructive behavior.

I decided to say “Eh, things happen for a reason” Two weekends later my Husband and I are at a garage sale. Right in the middle of the shoe rack we’re the exact make, model, color and size that I ordered online. That’s not all ... There was no price tag so my husband asked the seller how much. The seller said, “You seem like nice people, they’re free” My husband was so shocked by the entire experience ... I think it was Source congratulating me for not being attached to a physical item when the order got cancelled. NO JOKKKE.
Beautiful. That was God, by the way (don't mean to be rude). He's done the opposite to me. I never ever ever lose money by dropping money on the ground in public - like ever. But I had gone shopping at a thrift store about a month prior and there were two beautiful pairs of pants there that I wanted and that I knew God had provided because He does this quite often for me. Anyway, I only had money for one pair, so I decided to hide the second pair. When I went back the next month or so, I knew I shouldn't even care to look for them again because that just felt greedy. But, of course, I didn't listen to that voice and decided to go searching for them. I didn't find them, I didn't even really expect to. I continued shopping and found some stuff to buy, but when I got to the line to checkout couldn't find my money - and I knew exactly where I had left it. I rarely ever lose track of things that are on my person. I knew that moment it was God teaching me the lesson I failed to heed. I believe God blesses strength of character and punishes lack of character in all people. He gives and takes away. To me, He wants to get your attention. He's letting you know He loves you. :) Hope that didn't come off preachy, I just like hearing these kinds of experiences with the divine and thought I'd share my thoughts.

The main issue I've had with Pisces rising is that it's easy going go with the flow social outlook and the lone wolf identity (as in not needing social interactions) makes it very easy to unintentionally drift away from people. I never feel the need to see friends often and this inevitably leads to people disappearing under the radar. And while I don't seek social interactions, my friends are always people I admire and get a good energy from. A few months will go by and I'll suddenly remember them and be sad that we lost touch. Frustratingly it seems to come down to being too socially chill and perhaps not attached enough (yeah I have Aquarius sun which throws aloofness and detachment into the mix, making others perceive me as being bored with them when I couldn't love them more ☹️

I’m so content to be in my own world that I really forget to ask how someone is doing or set a dinner date. What I’ve discovered that works is firstly choosing a few really energetically likable people so that your interactions are genuine. Then, after you see them message them how special that was and ask to get something else on the calendar. This way you cannot forget to reach out because you’ll be reminded through your calendar. I also use my calendar to write down birthdays or any events that someone mentioned in our conversation that may be fun to follow up on (a concert they went to, doctors appointment, anniversaries). I find that once I get those reminders, people are so pleasantly surprised that you remembered! Just another way a rising Pisces is a social chameleon when our heads were actually in the clouds lol

I’ve never seen this interpretation that includes 12th and 9th house information. Which was very informative and honestly spot on. I watched the libra rising video as well because my boyfriend is a libra rising, and so is my brother. Talking about the IC in both our charts (mine and my brothers) makes me think of how we can have the same parents, grow up in the same house, get a lot of the same messages and still feel and experience those experiences in totally different ways. Like yes my parents gave us a lot of financial information, talked about bills and budgeting and all that which falls in line with my brothers Capricorn IC, but for me none of that information really seemed relevant or stuck with me. My parents also had a long and messy divorce and I felt that I had to pretend that everything was alright in public even though behind closed doors it wasn’t, which you talked about in this video where parents were lying to each other etc. That experience of having to pretend and suppress my emotions really affected me as a child with the IC in Gemini. I found out from sidereal Astrology that I am a Pisces ascendant. I feel like it resonates so much more than my Aries Ascendant.
I’ve never seen this interpretation that includes 12th and 9th house information. Which was very informative and honestly spot on.
I watched the libra rising video as well because my boyfriend is a libra rising, and so is my brother. Talking about the IC in both our charts (mine and my brothers) makes me think of how we can have the same parents, grow up in the same house, get a lot of the same messages and still feel and experience those experiences in totally different ways. Like yes my parents gave us a lot of financial information, talked about bills and budgeting and all that which falls in line with my brothers Capricorn IC, but for me none of that information really seemed relevant or stuck with me. My parents also had a long and messy divorce and I felt that I had to pretend that everything was alright in public even though behind closed doors it wasn’t, which you talked about in this video where parents were lying to each other etc. That experience of having to pretend and suppress my emotions really affected me as a child with the IC in Gemini.
