It occurred to me while watching coach's semi-grumpy, understated manner, that Uconn wbb fans should remember to thank God for every day we call Geno Auriemma our coach. I marvel at a past master of expectations management & player motivation. More thoroughly than anyone, coach understands this team's potential, the gold mine of talent now at his command, yet you'll have to wait until a natty is in the bag for the hyperbole & unrestrained back slapping rah-rah that always wears thin in long campaigns yet remains common even at the better programs.
Isn´t it amazing how most people's lives are about long-term arrangements (job, marriage, home town, etc.) and with a sport like BBall it's minutes. Huh.
