Two buddies and myself eat at John's Lunch once a month. Seafood platter for me! No slaw extra clams.
I love this channel, saw the USA one years ago do a must eat in NS and glad he updated to add some new items! I live here and will have to try some of these places and some around the world if covid someday ends.
My home.... I go to all those places anytime I travel back
friday night, 3am, leaving the Dome absolutely sloshed, get a donair pizza for the walk over the bridge home, life is good

So sad Johns lunch has recently closed after 54 years. They were still super busy and loved as always, but the co-owner claimed it was too expensive with food rising costs.

K.o.d. - there are several.
They are easy to find on Google. They are all local owned places, except K.o.D, hope you visit one!
KOD’s sauce is cheap and easy to make and to screw up
King of Donair is NOT it, I don’t know why all these channels go to nasty ass greasy King of Donair….Nova Scotians know that Tony’s has the absolute best Donair, if King of Donair is what you consider a good Donair, you are sadly mistaken……
