    If you know anywhere else to get parts/accessories, please list them in the comments.

    EDIT: You can go from Offroad to road mode without stopping... however, if you have TC turned off in the offroad mode, then you can't go from road to offroad without stopping the motorcycle.

    Have to agree with all your points. I bought my 21 slightly used in 22. The guy I bought it from put AX41s on it right away. It also had T-Rex bars and plate. Horrendous resonance from them...like tuning forks! Replaced with Akurat parts and it made a HUGE difference reducing felt vibration a considerable amount. He had Pivot Pegz on it, which I dont like and replaced with SW-Momoney lowering adv pegs. I didnt like the flatish bars and replaced them with handlebars from a GT. More sweep which matched all of the BMWs I've owned and much more comfortable. Currently running Missions and very happy with them.

      @@MotoInTheValley Yeah, my original post didnt say how much I love this bike. Spent 10 years on R1200GS and GSA, and it was an adjustment but I really appreciate how sporty it is in the canyons, and really performs off-pavement.

    I'm 2 years and 9000 miles in on my RP. With you on the list. I'd put the need to swap out parts tied at #1 with replacing the tires as well (Did mine at the 600 mile service - Dunlop TrailMax Missions 👍). And oddly, you get a heated rear-passenger seat as standard. But it's fantastic bike, love riding it on and off-road.

    • @MotoInTheValley
      @MotoInTheValley  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I just swapped out my tires today, it will be a yearly task. I want the 50/50 tires so I can push it offroad, but I do a fair amount of road riding so they don't last long at all. Thanks for watching!

      @@MotoInTheValley What did you decide on? Mine came with AX41s which were fantastic off road, but the rear lasted about 1200 miles (I blame the quickshifter...)

    • @MotoInTheValley
      @MotoInTheValley  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I had the shinko 805 on the rear only because I already had it, and the mitas E-07 for the front... I just switched to the Battlax AX 41 rear and the Tusk 2 track front. Kinda disappointed that you say the AX41 won't last long, but I kind of expected that.

    • @orangelion03
      @orangelion03 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@MotoInTheValley Depends on how much self-restraint you have =D Between the AX41 and the Missions I'm running now, had an 805 on the rear of the Tiger for a trip...those lasted just under 1.8K (I could get 2500 out of them on the GS). I ran 804/805 on the wire wheel set for my GS, 705s on the alloys. The eight-ohs worked great for me.

    I have the same bike. It is marketed as a 24 Rally Special Edition with all the options as the Rally Pro. It doesn't come with heated seats, which cost $575.00 from Triumph. The new 34 models have more HP and a few more options. All aftermarket parts for the 23 fit it.

    • @MotoInTheValley
      @MotoInTheValley  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Yes I agree on all that except the heated seats... mine came with the heated seats. Not sure if that is just a dealer thing or a US thing, but I have emailed Triumph to see why it is marketed as a 24 model. All they said was its because it is a special edition. In my opinion it was terrible timing with the real 24 model being upgraded. But what can ya do?

    • @rickyschultz2276
      @rickyschultz2276 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Wow, I had to buy a set if heated seats from Triumph, and swap sest covers to maintain the special color scheme. I have bought several Pyraimid aftermarket accessories that are useful. Traded in my Tiger 1200 for it.

    Triumph’s reason for having to stop is safety because of TC and ABS being switched off but I think that is stupid simple because if you want off-road mode then that’s going to be off and on road modes it will be switched back on 🤷‍♂️. In the Uk you do get the option of a more off-road tyre but not off-road enough for you 😂 I’m not sure if this would work but have you tried setting up the rider mode for your off-road exertions 🤷‍♂️

    • @MotoInTheValley
      @MotoInTheValley  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It says you can't switch into any mode where the TC is turned off unless you stop. And for my offroad setup I want the TC off. So even setting up the rider mode wouldn't help in my case. Thanks for watching!

    I bought my wife the same model you have, but with the lowered suspension. On her bike the footpeg is not that bad, and I suspect the issue is because Triumph is using the same footpeg for the GT Pro with the even lower suspension. It would be nice if they offered different options for the different level suspensions. Also, the Barkbusters for this bike is really horrible. I am struggling to get them fitted properly without inducing a very sharp bend in the front brake line. In South Africa Rockfox also makes accessories for the Triumph.

    The 2024 model made a ton of the most complained about issue improvements. I almost got the T Rex stuff but went with Outback Motortek uppper, lower, bash and racks. I got some stuff also from AliExpress, Mosko Moto bags etc etc etc....Hepco/Becker handguards...which stops vibrations... pivot pegz.... Givi 46L top case... Mission tires....(might go Raid next time as I ride in Baja often from San Diego). I LOVE the bike so much..hate the TFT user interface. The 2024 model really nailed it. Of course I bought the 2023 11 mths prior but yeah i love the bike and ride 2 up often and she loves the heated seat. My gas mileage is terrible..even BEFORE I added the mods and bars etc...and regardless of 2 up riding. I'm like, ...37-39 mpg which is about 10 worse than anybody I know worldwide. Drives me nuts.

      It is still an issue when riding in the higher temps, BUT I notice a hugeee difference when I wear jeans compared to riding pants. The riding pants block most of the heat, and I wear riding pants 90% of the time, so for me, it's a minor issue.

      Funny thing about that, I was out on a ride today and either forgot how to get it back into road mode, or it no longer works because I had a heck of a time.
