I already LOVE new york city, but this video made me love and miss it even more. I completely forgot how great tht city is!! I'll definately go back as soon as possible
i've lived in atlanta 20 years now, and i miss the apple like you wouldn't beleive... set this video on repeat.....best night sleep i've had in years grand central. subway,, and squeeky cabs brakes. reminded me of my teens in the city that never sleeps. here in atlanta the sidewalks get rolled up at 10:00 pm well Friday it's 11:00
Great vid... I work in the financial district just a few blocks from ground zero. The first building you showed is actually One Liberty Plaza. The millenium hilton is a few block to the north. Living in NYC you don't really appreciate what a great city it is until you watch something like this.
No city in the world comes close to the urban scape of New York City, I have always loved traveling to New York! The people are a mixed bag, they do tend to be short and informal, I live in Philadelphia, and we like to say we are nicer than people in New York, I see no difference, East coast "tude", no matter how you slice it. I love the crowds rubbing elbow to elbow, Chicago is breathtaking nice people to, but the city empties out after 6 pm. New York is 24-7. Love your post.
Love your vid, i absoultly love America, i`ve never been but definetly will some day. The american people are very friendly , this vid is in my favourites, thanks.
I can smell the ozone and tar in the subway just from hearing the clips taken in the subway without seeing them (I was typing), shows how much I've spent down there that I can tell by the sound where it is and imagine the smell.
Adam, you are correct I realized that after I uploaded the video. We stayed at the Millennium, but that black building is One Liberty Plaza. Thanks for checking out my video.
Yes, we were staying there. I goofed up when I added the titles. I saw the black building when I was editing and thought, oh that was our hotel, but alas it was not. Thanks for watching and for the heads-up.
@363Simba People are people... it's common to run into ppl from cultures where that might not be standard behaviour but that doesn't mean you can't be yourself here. It takes all kinds.
One of the greatest NYC videos out there! Thank you for making & sharing! Love it!
I live a mile away from all this and you did a VERY GOOD job capturing the sites, sounds and feeling of the city
Love it. I lived there for a year. Best city on the planet!
I am presently in Afghanistan and I am on the way back to NYC. Man, watching this makes me feel like I am back already. Thanks.
