1:15 english localization actually screwed up on the last part of this line. What Scara actually said in the end was not "then don't stand in my way" but " if you're not scared, then stand behind me" which is like A F-ING huge difference, that shows his growth as a character.
This, this gentle side of him is the one that he so desparately wanted to hide, back when he was still trashing about human emotions. And the fact that he's not afraid of showing this side of him now is such a special thing given what he had been through. I mean, he's got nothing to lose now. He found out the truth about his past. No point in dwelling in it and staying mad forever.
He moved on. Even asked us for a new name. Left the pain of the betrayal, abandonment and grief behind and realized he doesn't need to become a human to feel complete.

The realisation that his friend died because of him being used kinda makes him snapped and wanna change everything. When he didn’t succeed, but remembered everything, and since he is no longer remembered, his motive has changed, although his bad side still shows. Shows that personality is hard to change, even for a puppet. And the golden feather ei left with him, i was hoping at least wanderer would make a comment on that.
He still has it, maybe even values it as much as the Vision it hangs under, but I imagine he doesn't like to talk about it. Character Story 2 is kinda heartbreaking about it.

Lorewise after the latest archon quest, he has become one of my favorite characters in the game alongside Nahida. I am looking forward to seeing more of him in our journey to reunite with our sibling and how the change he caused in the Irminsul affects the Fatui Harbingers. Gameplaywise I wish they buffed him, either in terms of damage boost or interrupt resistance or flight time or any other utility without tying him to be only a DPS.
Same, most only disappoint,ent with the archon quest is that everyone forgot him and you’re removed so much potential in his character interactions. I think many people were looking forward to the interaction between him and Ei.
I wasn’t going to pull for him. After his story quest, and playing him in misty dungeon, i pulled for him. My only gripe is that all those pulls and no faruzan
@@pikira2246 i'm probably one of the few people that had been thinking before that Ei and Scara should not reconcile and just move on from their lives as strangers. I feel like Scara's biggest burden is him being Ei's puppet. And most of the bad things happened to him was because he was connected to Ei. He seems to also knew he wasn't abandoned but still dislike Ei for imposing her freedom to him. Though there are still evidence that Ei still remembers him (but only as a puppet she created). They might still meet in the future. But probably not the same as before.
ppl thought he'd have a sweet tooth cuz Ei created him yet completely ignored that the Shogun puppet does not like sweets and looks down on the idea of consuming them.

While two or more Harbingers are basically mixing liquids not emulsified (as in utter chaos unless Pierro and/or the Tsaritsa shuts them all up), having one as a companion seems peaceful. Needless to say, Childe seems to also follow that path, and despite being morally black in terms of actions, you can count the kind Harbingers with one hand anyway.
