The whole being worried about Draymond thing has been totally taken out of context. I don’t know who that reporter is, but as a lifelong Warriors fan, Draymond does worry me. I love his game and his passion, but it’s always teetered a line. Before last season I always gave him the benefit of the doubt and came to his defense in conversations. The reporter probably wasn’t personally asking about his well being in life, but rather about if he was going to continue to be unpredictable on the court and how that would effect his availability and the teams stability.
From a fan’s perspective it’s hard not to put a lot of the blame on Draymond for first losing KD, and now more recently Klay. If I was KD I would have left to because of the public disrespect. So… “fuck that dude, I’m out” was the appropriate response. And if I was Klay, I would have been absolutely resentful at the warriors for resigning a guy that can’t keep his cool and being asked to wait for his own contract.
This whole “why would you be worried about me” attitude is exactly why fans, at least, deserve to be worried. History and context matter. Writing that reporters question off as ridiculous totally undermines any mental health and stability work that was reportedly an ongoing work in progress. Draymond is lucky as hell he was let back in the league so soon and it just doesn’t seem like he gets that.

Ima be honest , hate or love perk but anytime someone tries to say he has no room to speak is the DUMBEST thing possible !!! How is it ok for Stephen A , Shannon , Skip Bayless , All Them Women on espn , all the anchors , how about all the regular folks in the barber shop saying the same things ? So they can say it but Kendrick perkins can’t ? lol it’s absurd

What perk did in the NBA has nothing to do with him reporting his authentic opinion on the game itself. Kawhi hasn’t played 70 games in how long? To get paid max dollars to be unavailable more than available especially during the playoffs is NOT IT. Also the type of knee issues he is having are the same ones that retired Brandon Roy! Only difference is Kawhi was already a champion by the time his knee issues presented itself….. put it in its proper context plz

I remember people saying that Drose should retire because of injuries.. i think 95% of the convo is about the injury frequency that KL seems to have. Its like wirh Tua and rhe Dolphins.. all these concussions..people get concerned about ones heath after sports.. its ultimately the athletes decision... rhe hinted that Nadal should've retired years ago because frequent injuries..
