@@GKGOLUREMI I do not know for sure but I feel like that would be highly ironic as roll cuts are made to get more latex onto the ball for a better grip, which a no grip glove would not really be affected by, since you know, no grip😂😂
@@legolife9128 they fit different but everyone has their preferences with cuts personally I wouldn’t use these unless they were made in a vg3 cut so I just use a battered pair
I love the Zeros, and so do my keepers. Although they didn’t like them very much in the very first session, they quickly saw the improvements in their handling, and now we use them for every session, and switch to latex the last session before a game. Great product!

It really is a game-changer when you analyze this feature, and it would be excellent for younger keepers to have them, only problem being that they grow so fast sometimes that an U11 keeper can change sizes twice in the same year. Excellent video, great to see two powerhouses from the GK community with this cross over. Congrats berto for the usual top notch work and the team from Modern-Day GK for the great idea they had. Really annoys me when people say just use your hands, my hands are so grippy and find it comfortable catching withought gloves. It’s easy to pick up a ball with one hand withought gloves on, with these, absolutely no chance.
We always had to bring simple winter gloves to training so we would get used to grip the ball properly instead of just blocking it to the side... So just use cheap winter gloves instead :)
@@ModernDayGK I don't know what you mean 😅 I think the grip effect would be the same. The only extra seems like is having that "Goalkeeper Glove feel". There is nothing wrong in buying your gloves but I was suggesting a very cheap alternative :)

Yes there is a lack of grip (but ZROs could be the slippiest surface yet 😅) . But you don’t have anywhere near the same protection as the ZROs and also the durability. As you mention, the goalkeeper glove feel is also extremely important to transfer back to match gloves.

it is a high tier pricing for the glove but thanks to the idea of not having grip I don't think you'll need to replace these gloves for some time so they last a lot longer than a normal glove. If they ripped up like a normal glove than I would agree with you one hundred percent!

you are talking about soft hands and i understand, but I always learned you must put pressure on the ball with your fingers. will it then be an improvement of your regular catching if you restart using normal gloves? @ars Goalkeeping
If you want durable gloves, then I recommend Uhlsport Absolutgrip (lots of models and colours to choose from), Resuch Attrakt Freegel Infinity Resistor (absurdly long but this is its full name) or One Glove APEX Colossus. All of these are designed to take a beating especially on artificial grass/turf. So, if you're playing on natural grass, they will last even longer. Hope this helps 🙏
As well as the higher chance of injury, it’s also the poor transfer back to goalkeeper gloves. They won’t have the same “feel” as GK gloves, so you will not be maximising the transfer. The body needs to have a familiar feeling.

In the video I cover this, these gloves have less grip than an old pair of gloves even less grip than just going without gloves at all. The ZRO has negative grip you will have a hard time finding something as slippery as this even a pair of very old gloves will feel like glue compared to them
Look up New Balance! A pair would cost about $ 30-35. I used a pair on turf fields and it performed well durability wise. Pour a bit of Gatorade on the palms, and they will be unbelievably sticky! Hope this helps!
Hey ars when do you know when you need new goalie gloves because my reushe g3 have a massive rip and lots off tearing in but the grip is tsill fantastic
I usually keep the gloves until the grip totally goes away because some tears arenr a problem while playing or catching if you know how to catch cause te good grip will help you and you wont feel th loosenes

I mean, they sure are some pricey gardening gloves (that actually feel like goalkeeper gloves, have a better quality of materials and padding, and one’s that genuinely help your handeling with an even slippier palm)😂. Still worth the investment in my opinion as it is just a unique feeling that cannot be compared to regular old gardening or dish washing gloves, but to each their own my kind sir!

it is a high tier pricing for the glove but thanks to the idea of not having grip I don't think you'll need to replace these gloves for some time so they last a lot longer than a normal glove. If they ripped up like a normal glove than I would agree with you one hundred percent!

finger tips and palms definitely! yea I felt an improvement or moreso much more confident than i did before when I changed back over to normal gloves
