A heads up for anyone who thinks of getting this one: I owned two of them (for re-entrant and linear) for the past 8 months and while the playability and sound are certainly off the charts for the price range they are in, Enyas quality sadly is not :( Both of the Ukes began to exhibit buzzing originating from the body only a few weeks apart. I suspect that it was due to bad cable management inside but neither I, nor a guitar & ukulele Shop I brought them to, nor the Shop I bought them from initially were able to confirm that definitely. Enyas customer Support didn't even acknowlede the problem albeit me sending them Videos with audible buzzing. I was lucky enough that the Shop I bought them from took them back and refunded the money in full but I am still quite bummed about the fact that they didn't even last a year before exhibiting major problems. That shouldn't fly at this price point. I don't want to badmouth Enya here but I wouldn't want anyone to run into the same Problems I did and maybe not get as lucky as I did and essentially lose several hundred bucks. I get why everyone loves the idea, these are just my two Cents on the matter.
Buddy u killing me her ont say that my enya n9va u pro exihibited the same problem but I thought that was coz it fell on the side once , but resopved the problem myself by screw tightening nd chnging strings if , I am sav8ng up nd I really cant takeup to th shop we only have 1 dealer here in India which 1000s of km away from my place nd also we dont have any other high end uke brand in India .
This was a great review. You are doing lots of good work for Enya - you turned the ukulele in these beautiful lights... professionals couldn't have done much better. Thank you. That’s so sweet. I was just talking with my dad about in Matthew, Jesus reminds us that the Father takes care of us. Looking back on my life, I can see how much He has provided and continues to do so. He’s so faithful.

@@OneMusicSchool Last Wednesday, my husband was driving me to work early in the morning when an adult deer ran across in front of my car. We tried but couldn't miss it and hit it full on. Every single airbag in the car went off, deer flew up over my car and went to Heaven. We had zero aches pains or injuries if any kind. The car is 2 years old and the safety features were out of this world, but God still gave the jncrease. We found out yesterday that between insurance and Gap insurance, it's totally covered and we will be looking for a other car today. The debt was more than I liked, but is now totally wiped out. I can get something more affordable now. I hate unnecessary debt. It's wasteful to me. That was something we worried about, but He took care of it!
I've had my eyes on this the year and a half I've been playing. You and Baz have laid out all the features, and make me still want it! Have they radiused the fretboard yet? I'd really enjoy that update and am trying to hold out for it.

When I initially fell in love with it, they were only being made on-demand. I finally bought my first all-wooden ukulele for my first anniversary this winter, and received a 2nd as a holiday gift. Now that I'm sure I can take care of them in wild New England climate, I still want this one.
I can’t decide which color to get. I feel like the natural stain shows off the feathers nice but the blue and black are wonderful also. First time I heard the sound on this one it blew me away. Sounded like expensive music box filled with gold. My opinion only. Thanks for all your hard work on the review. Northern Michigan here.

I'm curious why you didn't actually plug it into an amp during the review. What are your impressions of the pickup? Is it well balanced across all 4 strings? On mine the C string sounds a bit boomy.

I have enya strings on my other enya ukuleles. I just received the feather uku. Don't like the strings that came with it. I was thinking about putting enya strings on it. What do you think?
I bought a feather it had no sound effects exchanged it that on also has no effects when not plugged in very disappointed. Enya told me to keep it they would only refund me $100. I bought it because of your review.
I also had some problems with the two feathers I bought, though different ones. Luckily I was refunded in full by the Shop I got them from. Not by enya though, they didn't care in the slightest
