- Father Mike Driscoll is a priest of the Diocese of Peoria, Illinois. He is currently serving as chaplain of St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Ottawa, IL, Pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Utica IL, and Exorcist for The Diocese of Peoria (Technically, yet to be re-appointed under the new Bishop Lou Tylka). You shouldnt get spooked at 3am. It may be witching hour for some but as a now practicing Catholic, 3am is also the hour of the Divine Mercy. I encourage every Christian to pray the Divine Mercy chaplet because its a clear reminder to the devil that Jesus succeeded in His mission by dying on the cross and redeemed the world.

3 pm is the hour of Divine Mercy. The hour when Christ died. 3 am is the inversion of 3 pm, that's why typically evil spirits are more active during that hour.

Sometimes demonic possession can bring on an early onset of mental illness. This happened to my 13 yr old brother, who, after using avouija board for a year, became possessed and developed schizophrenia.

Jesus can do it all. Pills don't even work; read into it. Pills for depression just came out as not even having an effect on helping with depression. It's all a ploy to take away from God and put more money in Big Pharma's pockets.

Its hell, its beyond agony if you can even imagine that. I am in it. Have been for almost my entire life, over 20 years and it has gotten worse. My last resort is prayer. 😢

I was a patient in Ottawa at St Elizabeth. I had postpartum pshycosis. I was definitely treated like I was possessed. I still don’t truly understand my episode but I remember every detail. A priest was brought in, but he left the room as soon as he entered. I was very interested to stumble upon this.
Psychosis, not pshycosis...As a mental health professional who works in an inpatient facility, it's not uncommon at all for hospitals to offer spiritual guidance for our patients. This may often be having priests of the Catholic Church, pastors of other denominations, or non Christian religious leaders, come to visit our patients.. They're definitely not there to offer exorcism to patients, just a listening ear or to offer religious services such as prayer or communion.
Demonic possession exists and demonic oppression exists. Mental health, maybe chemical imbalances exists. The bible tells us that if you live a life of sin that he will eventually give you over to a reprobate mind and it happens. We also open doors and there's things that make their way in through our eyes and ears. I see it like God spoke the entire world into existence so how powerful are words? Obviously our words don't compare to God's words/word, but they are powerful none the less. I'm of the belief (in my journey right now) that no man has final authority and while we may sometimes need elders of the church to help us pray to get through to God, if your already in communication with God we can directly ask for freedom and he does deliver us sometimes all at once and sometimes slowly over time.
God can't hear you if you're in mortal sin. He has turned from you until you come back and confess those sins. His mother will help you and mediate for you in some circumstances but mortal sin turns you away from God. Of course many don't even believe in the true Church of Christ so they will never find the way back.

Adhd is created by you not being youre true self. You dont need exorcism. You need to heal your soul through prayers. Try find your triggers. Go therapy. The adhd drugs can make you see demons though or lead to drug addiction
When you say someone, can you be more specific. Somehow I'm skeptical you had a Catholic priest try to perform an exorcism due to you having ADHD..Now if you had some megachurch "pastor" who routinely baptizes individuals in swimming pools during a rock concert, try to perform an "exorcism" I wouldn't be surprised at all.

What is this? Hysterical strength? I experienced this when I was being physically attacked I felt like I had superpowers and the abuser couldn't overcome me.
@@jomoon9391During a combative experience the human body enters a state of flight or fight, this floods the body with massive levels of adrenaline and stress hormones such as cortisol. Leading to an acute increase in sensory perception, strength, and speed often more than they would be capable of during normal activity. It's short lived, and due to the body suppressing pain often can lead to injury as the body pushes past normal limitations.
Father Chad ripperger said that beelzebub satan and lucifer are 3 different distinct personalities of the devil that manifest during exorcism.They are the same but each demon has a different personality and each one manifests differently to the other . According to father ripperger he said the they do this as an inversion of the most holy trinity and that God the father split the devil's personality into 3 different demons as punishment to lucifer for leading the rebellion in heaven and causing the split between the angels.God bless
@@RobKoch1962 The Church doesn't rely on Scripture alone, and Scripture doesn't invalidate Fr. Ripperger's assumption/conclusion either. Lucifer, Satan and Beelzebub are three names given in the Bible to the father of lies, the deceiver from the beginning. There's no mistranslation in the names given. But officially, to the Church, it's an open question wether they are three distinct demons, or if they are different identities given to the same demon.

Thank you so much for sharing that explanation Fr Ripperger shared. It explains so much as to what's going on in my own case. Although every demon's goal is to steal, kill & destroy, they are given particular 'roles'/'jobs'. Such a Astaroth for divination. With Satan, Lucifer & Beezelbub, they all seemed to have the same exact same role & yet different personalities to each other. I was confused about that, esp since I thought the Church taught they're the same being. Fr Ripperger's conclusion makes sense.

I have epilepsy, and I have demons. I do not practice religion besides loving Mother Earth. I believe that I have possessions and I sometimes fear letting them go… but sometimes I don’t know how I will survive with them on my back.

@@meme-vn4fl there is something evil in my old apartment, I moved about two weeks ago and my life has changed drastically. Whatever this is, has brought me to my knees begging Jesus Christ for help. I claimed my space in this new unit(down the hall from 309) I sage and I cleaned FROM CEILING TO FLOOR. Me and my ex were the third couple who violently ended their relationships in that apartment, just months after moving in so happy. I know now that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and I trust that wholeheartedly.

I have met this man although only briefly when I was at the hospital before he really is kind true soul like good man. I'm making it easy so I was afraid to really Tell dude but you know cause I didn't believe in God at the time and it's still a difficult sometimes I want to be a demonic haunting as a kid and this thing just came after me more than the other people but it was kinda brutal to everybody but even when things happen and it came back to me and I want to go get help from a church nobody was there it's a homes in Hollywood water and a Bible the thing was gone. I've had a lot of other experiences in my life and I just used to tell myself his clues were in a bad area paranormal Lies just very active I suppose. Well and I occasionally will have a visithere you don't seem to be the same . Some reason it seems like different beings come go and if you're taking a lot of notice of me I've had all sorts of horrific things noises and things said to me no I've been checked out years ago I don't have a good friend or a brain cancer but I thought I did it first but then all the people were having experiences and it was well these these these just seem to really hate me the most I've never been baptized and I've never gotten to a church and I think I should probably do that at this mean I'm Violet's point 2 over I do believe God in dangerous I just haven't been able to see them but something has protected me A lot many times.

I like to think of priests performing exorcisms as spiritual surgeons

This priest has the Theology and Knowledge and is the wrong one for these questions he is lacking the hands on experience to be in this discussion. He is probably great for the young people with mental health problems but not actual Possession which is extremely rare anyway. He has knowledge but too little experience as an exorcist. I will pray for him to become more hands on practised in this ministry. He is not an experienced exorcist only theory God Protect him
I would assume he has vastly more experience than 99% of priests and laypeople, including yourself..
what’s quite interesting is that after being exorcised, alleged possesed people get the same issues. it’d only about time. this means that most possesed people have mental issues rather than demons. sometimes, the best exorcism is a psychiatric good treatment
I don't intend to offend anyone with this statement, but Father Driscoll appears and sounds nervous throughout the interview. On the contrary, most Independent Churches and Mega-Churches perform exorcisms in nearly every service they hold, which is very baffling, to say the least.

I would also say that we can all have an individual connection to the almighty. No church or bishop needed. Churches are FAR from perfect and rely on your FEAR to need them. This is completely untrue. Yes,I believe in Jesus and the power of prayer but the energy of this guy is off to me….he seems extremely nervous and fearful of going to hell…NO ONE goes to hell that’s complete fear mothering by ALL churches. Yes,be righteous of course and do no harm while here and ask for forgiveness directly. I don’t believe in hierarchy whatsoever here…. Good talk. There is 1 part of the discussion that did bother me. Ironically, it's the part not taking about Exorcisms. But I dislike when religious people demand that teachers talk about God in school. There are many religions in this world, and a parent has to right to teach their own kid their own religion. Plus everyone has their own versions of the Christian God. But the weirdest part was how open he was about kids making babies. Like, what's with priests wanting children to be pregnant?
Why would you dislike when parents want talk about the creator of the world instead of the lies of the demonic governments? You haven't got a clue what you're talking about. That's the bottom line for most people. There aren't different believers in the Christian God either. There just is one God and He sent His Son who gave us the church. Then humans decided they didn't like parts of that church so they split from it like they knew better than God. The church still exists, in its ancient form. The test God gave us all and our reason for existing to find Him, know Him, love Him and serve Him in this life and forever in the next has never changed. Nothing He's ever said for us to do to pass the test of life has ever changed. All that's changed is people listen more and more to the lies of the devil and turn from God. They serve the god of self with all their opinions and silly notions, a bit like how your comment sounds because if you were on track for passing the test, you'd know all this.
