Everything about this is a work of art. The filming, the lighting, the sound, the editing, the animations, the graphic design, the iterations, and obviously the product design. Incredible!

Its amazing that you have every brand of trim router in your possession. The router table is pretty cool too. It takes alot of time and effort to design and iterate, let alone produce such a high quality video for us. Thank you.

These videos... oh man! Without fail! They get me going! All the creative pores, canals, conduits open up. The fantasies and desires get flowing. Beautiful, inspirational stuff. Thanks man. Lovely to get touched by the woodworking bug this way.

So absolutely stunning! Nearly forgot to breathe. Since I'm an absolute newbie in woodworking - not so in 3D-printing (although at age 70 !) - I have to rewatch your vid several times in a quarter of the recording speed 😅 in order to really grasp, what you're doing

The voronoi 3D pattern adding structure and grip at the same time is very cool. As always impressive work and even more impressive that all the mechanical design is usually done in grasshopper...

Congratulations on your project, it offers many solutions!!!
Can I ask you where you found the caps you used on your carpenter's bench as I have the same problem and I also have 20mm holes with a chamfer like you. Thank you.

10:30 That's the 101 of working with a router: always go against the cutting edge. I added feed direction markings (with a sharpie) to both top and bottom sides of my routers
Impressive work tho, on both the design, execution and video editing.

your projects and the amount of effort you put into these extremely high quality videos, graphics, animations and documentation are absolutely incredible but all that fancy video work makes it quite difficult to follow what is actually going on before you cut from one shot to the next. i know theres a lot going on but if you could slow it down a bit it would be much more pleasant to watch.
anyway, thank you all the same, i did watch the whole video pausing and rewinding several times and theres so much impressive stuff going on. fantastic work!

Very nice build AND thank you for showing the router scare you had @10:23 and the graphics to explain what was going on. I learnt that you have to run the workpiece against the rotation of the bit so the cutters can cut into the material. If you run the piece in the direction of the bits rotation, it can pull the piece and shoot it out. However I am VERY confused with what happened @11:48. He started pushing the piece in the right direction (left to right) and it got caught and was trying to pull it out of his hands, twice. Then he pushes the piece right to left and it is smooth and no pulling. As per his graphics @11:25, what he started doing @11:48 is correct but it obviously did not work and he went against what he said in the graphics and it worked. Why is that 🤔. What am i missing?

For anyone who cares, I've built many arcade machines from MDF and if you want to make the machined/milled ends of MDF practically dent-proof, make a solution of 5 parts water to 1 part wood glue and apply liberally with a foam brush. Once dry, sand with 220 grit paper and the machined edges will be hard, unfuzzy and paintable. For those who don't care, why have you read this far?

  • @ironchefboyardeee

This is cool but I still would worry that the hardware necessary isn't readily available in the US. I'd be more willing to buy some of these designs if there were BOM's and estimated BOM prices.

Your products are very well designed and useful. But at the price they are selling, it makes little sense. A simple base plate is as much as the router itself. Well known brands like rockler have similar products made with more durable material such as stainless steel for lowe prices.
