Η Demy θα εκπροσωπήσει την Ελλάδα στον φετινό διαγωνισμό της Eurovision 2017, που θα διεξαχθεί στο Κίεβο από τις 9 έως τις 13 Μαΐου 2017. Τρία είναι τα τραγούδια που ετοίμασε μια δυναμική ομάδα, που απαρτίζουν ο συνθέτης Δημήτρης Κοντόπουλος και o σκηνοθέτης Φωκάς Ευαγγελινός. Τους στίχους έγραψαν η Romy Papadea και ο John Ballard. Τη σκηνοθεσία και των τριών Video Clip ανέλαβε ο μαέστρος της εικόνας Γιάννης Παπαδάκος.
Demy will represent Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv from 9th to 13th of May 2017. There are three songs that prepared from a dynamic team: the composer, Dimitris Kontopoulos and stage director Fokas Evaggelinos. The lyrics written by Romy Papadea and John Ballard. The director of the three Video Clips is Yiannis Papadakos.
Bio:
EN: Demy’s love affair with music started at a very early age, with piano lessons at the young age of five, before even going to school. Meanwhile, she enrolled for the school choir and also attended music theory and harmony lessons, while she hasn’t stop taking vocal coaching as well as piano lessons up until today.
Her musical influences come from many different kinds of music, out of which she distinguishes jazz, soul, rock n’ roll and r’n’b, aiming to experiment with every one of her songs, as she avoids categorizing herself in one particular kind of music.
After her official launch in the music world in 2011, Demy has enjoyed a series of successful collaborations with well known Greek artists, and has released several singles that gained both national and international acclaim.
During the past two years she has started a stage career resulting in leading roles in big scale musical productions.
In her free time, Demy is a diligent Law student.
FR: L' amour que Demy avait pour la musique est apparu très tôt. Elle a commencé d' apprendre le piano quand elle avait 5 ans, avant de commencer l' école. Parallèlement elle s’est inscrite au chœur du conservatoire et elle a suivi des cours de théorie et harmonie, tandis qu’aujourd’hui elle continue de suivre des cours de phonétique et de piano.
Après avoir écouté nombreuses sortes de musique, et principalement du jazz, soul, rock ‘n roll et r&b, elle vise à expérimenter avec chaque chanson et interprétation.
Depuis son debut musical officiel en 2011, Demy a participé à une série de collaborations réussies avec des artistes grecs bien connus, et elle a lancé plusieurs singles qui lui ont apporté une reconnaissance à la fois nationale et internationale.
Au cours des deux dernières années, elle a entamé une carrière scénique qui a mené à des rôles de premier plan, en productions musicales à grande échelle.
Pendant son temps libre, Demy est une étudiante diligente en Droit.

Demy is amazing but it's a lost game. Italy will win, have you seen the youtube views and likes on that song?
Italians are known for good taste of music and I'm sure they can make into the Top5 via televoting. On the other hand, there are juries who are sceptic about South Europe states ability to organise a massive contest due to economical instability (this is the main reason why Nordic countries have won so many ESC during recent years). Sadly, Italy now is the main object of those 'economical doctors' on TV and Internet (stories about Monte dei Paschi, rejection of Olympiad in Rome, earthquake casualties). Even ESC declares being just a song contest, economical situation matters. Actually it's a miracle that Ukraine got a chance to win and host.

Επιτέλους! Εκπληκτικές λεπτομέρειες που κάνουν τη διαφορά. Τώρα το κομμάτι έχει συνοχή, κουπλέ ρεφρέν γέφυρα όλα πολύ καλά δεμένα μεταξύ τους. Επίσης έγινε πιο χορευτικό η μάλλον ευκολοχόρευτο. Καλά, το κερασάκι στην τούρτα είναι το τελευταίο this is love με τη συνοδεία ηλεκτρικού πιάνου. Μπράβο στην ομάδα μας!!!

Και μετά στην σκηνική παρουσία ο Φωκάς να έβαζε κάτι που στο ρεφρέν να έπεφτε νερό σαν να έβρεχε και να είχε μια ρηχή δεξαμενή να τα μαζέυει εκει που θα πατάνε και να χωροπηδούσαν όλοι στο ρυθμό της μουσικής με χρώματα να εναλλάσονται πάνω στο νερό που θα πέφτει, οι χωρευτές θα ξεκινούσαν με σύγχρονο χορό μέσα στο ρηχό νερό και στο ρεφρέν θα έμπενε και η Demy μέσα με ακόμα 2-3 χορευτές
επίσης με τους φωτησμούς μπορούσαν να παίξουν και να σχηματίζουν φιγούρες- σκιές με την βοήθεια του νερού που θα πέφτει που θα λένε μια ιστορία αγάπης και θα χορέυουν μετά και αυτές όταν θα έπαινε το ρεφρέν στο ρυθμό της demy και των χορευτών
Εισαι στο μυαλο μου ετσι! Το rain falls from above, περα απο οτι κολλαγε πιο πολυ με το πρωτο κουπλε, εδινε περισσοτερες ευκαιριες κ ιδεες για υπεροχη σκηνικη παρουσια...το χα κανει πολλες φορες εικονα αλλα δυστυχως το αφαιρεσαν...ας το κραταγαν τουλαχιστον για το πρωτο ρεφρεν!

ειναι τοσο οσο,μετα θα φταναμε στην υπερβολη..με κατι δυνατο επι σκηνης,οπως συνηθιζει ο φωκας ευαγγελινος μπορει να φτασει αρκετα ψηλα,σε μια μετρια χρονια!

Εχω ακουσει κατι για πεταλουδες αλλα μαλλον ειναι ραδιο-αρβυλα.
Απο τον τροπο που ειναι στημενα παντως τα παιδια στο βιντεο απο την προβα που εβαλε ο Κοντοπουλος, νομιζω οτι το ενα αγορι θα αλληλεπιδρα με την Ντεμυ, γιατι αν προσεξεις οι τρεις ειναι ανεβασμενοι σε ενα σκαλακι και αυτος καθεται ξεχωριστα πιο διπλα.
Gr Fan φωνητικά είναι άρτιο το αποτέλεσμα πάντως. ... κάτι μου λέει ότι η Demy θα γεμίσει ρομαντισμό τη σκηνή και ο Φωκάς θα στήσει κάτι όμορφο και καθηλωτικο (είναι προσεκτικός με την αισθητική)

Μουσικα μ αρεσει εκαναν πιο ενδιαφερον το ρεφρεν, πιο περιτεχνο μπιτακι
και το τελος πιο ομαλο...αυτο π με χαλα ειναι η αφαιρεση του "rain falls
from above" αλλα ενω αυτος ο στιχος συνδεοταν πρσστρ με το πρωτο κουπλε
νοηματικα (watch the river running dry) ο νεος συνδεεται πρσστρ με το
δευτερο κουπλε ( sky, morning, night κτλ)....για μενα θα πρεπε να
κρατησουν το πρωτο ρεφρεν ως εχει κ να αλλαξουν τους στιχους στο
δευτερο....Κατα τα αλλα ειναι καλο!
Σωστός σχετικά με τα της βροχής. Για μένα παραμένει απότομο το τέλος, πάνω στην κορύφωση χάνεται από το πουθενά και μένεις κάγκελο
Καλα δεν ειπα οτι ειναι ομαλο, οτι ειναι πιο ομαλο.Απο το προηγουμενο καλυτερο ειναι!
