Maha and Dr. Afif. Thanks a lot. I am in medical field, and whenever an Arabic speaking patient came to me , I had to use interpretation by the pt's family member and if non is there , I felt bad not being able to understand them well or explain to them about how to take meds and to give them disease prevention tips. I really appreciate this video and your efforts to teach Arabic. It helps quite a bit. Specially the way you do , it appears easy and interesting. God bless you and your family.
I am a medical student from Tel Aviv and I have been trying to learn more Arabic to be able to speak better with patients. I am so happy I found this video, shukran to both of you! Please make more :)
@canutevaz butn is like saying belly how we say belly in english and ma'ida is saying stomach just like we say stomach in nglish two words meaning the same
maha, thank you and ur cousin for the lesson, i am in the medical field and am learning arabic, so this lesson was very helpful :) i will be working soon in the uae at a hospital so i am trying to learn as much arabic as i can. your lessons are perfect.
Maha I have a different question; I am learning colours and I have them pretty well figured out but I don´t get the difference between LOON for colour and something that could be written as ´couscaza´. It is a game where I have to match the audio of the word to a selection of 6 images/colours. I sometimes see two different images of coloured pencil crayons and hear ´loon´ but also sometimes hear ´couscaza´ I learned which image to choose to get the correct answer but what is the difference??
So Maha here i go , plz translate the following in Arabic: 1)I can not breathe !! 2)I can not sleep !! 3)I am having severe pain in my chest(al alamun shadeedun fi sadari??) 4)I am his relative and he drowned in the river !! 5)Are you on any medications? 6)Does ur pain radiate to any other part of your body? 7)Is there any disease common in your family? 8)Do you smoke? for how long have you been smoking? 9)Did you ever have a surgery on you? 10)I have lost my appetite !!
I'm working in a colorectal department so my patients either have faecal incontinence or obstructive defaecation/constipation. How do u say those two terms? Thank you
thank you for your tutorial videos...im new in Saudi and i am looking for something i could spend my time into, something worth . i'll be watching your videos. :)
In English don't say I have vomits. Say I have been vomiting (past till current). Or I am vomiting (now). You can't HAVE vomits, you can vomit as an ACTION word only. Or you can say I have the stomach flu. Or I have been getting sick.
Really? What country would you say has the most coherent speach? Syria? Palestine? Libanon? Or should everyone learn Egyptian dialect? Or do you suggest everyone to learn MSA and not be able to make yourself understood anywhere? Is there a right or wrong in Arabic? Just saying......
