    I've been watching your content for almost a year and a half now, and even after two years of learning, I still find myself amazed. The way you create these environments is just on another level, so unique and well-done. Your art has improved so much, and the animations are incredible! Love your videos Max! maybe one day I become as good as you are

    Hey max , what do you think about the whole killing off Quixel bridge thing? I feel like it’s going to be really bad bro. If you also don’t agree with it please use your platform to speak on it , much love bro thanks for all you do for the community

    • @maxhayart
      @maxhayart  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think it’s going to be rough at the beginning but I actually have faith it’s going to be good eventually, even if it does become a bit more expensive. I always felt like quixel was exceptionally cheap for what it was so I’m not that surprised this is happening. Also, their bridge to blender plugin has been bugged for like 3 years so hopefully they can find a better solution with this. Hopefully there’s fast improvement with it and good implementation.

    Hey, ive been looking into getting quixel mega scans commercial license for their assets, where can i buy this because i keep searching and cant find anything.

    • @maxhayart
      @maxhayart  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think you only need the commercial license if you’re making a big video game or something. The standard license it comes with should allow you to do most things I think

    • @hallow2387
      @hallow2387 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@maxhayart I want to use their assets for blender in an animation. So will the standard license suffice? And also could you send me (if you have time) a weblink page to it. Ive been trying to find it and I cant

    so 44 seconds in you added a cut to the Temple then moved it up while the cut line was yellow to add multiple cuts, how did you do that, I know its ctrl+r but to move it while yellow I can't figure that out without left clicking then I can move it, but I can't add multiple cut's easy like you did,, what did you press?

    • @maxhayart
      @maxhayart  หลายเดือนก่อน

      When you add a loop cut, just use the scroll wheel to add more or less cuts. I think that’s what you mean

      You need at least 2 years of dedication to see some decent result. Or you are some kind of 3D Mozart or you won't achieve anything. Learning 3D is an incredibly slow process, Blender is not intuitive, if you wanna see faster results is probably better trying with compositing in Photoshop and AI. I don't see any other way of making poster in a really short frame of time other than post processing and assembling images in Gimp or Photoshop. Blender, Maya and 3D Max are all marathons.

    • @maxhayart
      @maxhayart  หลายเดือนก่อน

      While I would not say you need 2 years of grinding blender before you see any decent result, it is true that it’s a fairly slow process. But if you treat it like any other skill and dedicate yourself to it heavily (even just for a period of time to learn the basics) you can excel quite quickly. Just be consistent and dedicated and it will work itself out.

    • @ShrivatsaLolur
      @ShrivatsaLolur หลายเดือนก่อน

      you could use channels like polygon runway , blender guru ,cg fast track , etc to learn the basic of blender and come back to this channel to master your basics get into intermediate level hope this helps. And this how I started learning blender😊😊

    90% of Blender I know today is just watching your videos and I really apricate that you have made really very clean clear tuts with lots of creative vision. I am an artist at WetaFX and every time I watch your tuts or outputs I share my knowledge with my buddies. Thanks for making these videos and really helps artist out there who wants to end their day by something cool as I just did!
    I recently participated in one of the world wide 3D community challenge and I did this(link below), I am proud to say that I used most of your techniques and work styles to bring this final output.

    hey max could you make a video about 4d objects in blender using the quaternion there are very interesting and little complex but once created u can use it to create new type of renders which are way cool just for reference th-cam.com/video/N9Tnmbnl9Yw/w-d-xo.html hope you have time to watch it in this he explains how to create a geometry node to create 4d objects🙂🥲
