do you know that when you're fighting rhino shark on Varuna point you can find some healing goo in garages (there is one goo in vents so you can easy farm it)
The tiki mask location made me gasp with offended shock. I got all the heads, put them together correctly, and got the animation in the past. But I never thought to look behind the totem pole!
Ali, you seriously need to be nodded to if Redbeet ever does more work on this game. I swear you're the most hard-core rafter of us all, and I say that having grinding for 100% in this game.
Recently started a new file to play through with my kid sister. She's having fun, but we have a group of 4 and she's the only newbie so its hard to step back and let her experience certain things organically.
The Rhino Shark thing is really my favorite battle, because when I encountered it for the first time, I did not know what was going on, but with one hit away from death, I defeated it (together with my friend who was incapacited).
I actually managed to get the golden toy robot on my first ever treasure dig. I just crafted up my first metal detector and walked out onto a large island, and there it was, waiting for me.
I'm new to the game and wanna say thank you for your videos. They have been a huge help figuring some things out. I think I should start over again. I have yet to hit any of these story islands yet so restarting with what I know now might be better. Though I got that duck within the first 10 min of my first game, dunno if I'll be that lucky again lol.
can you find the story islands again after completing the story? im playing with my friend right now and we have just unlocked the story to play and i know that there are unique islands like a snowy island so can i get back to those islands after the story?
@@Charles-Smith of course! You just have to press T to open your journal and check the coordinates number. Put it on the receiver and the game will lead you there :)
Its scary that in scrap mechanic there are lots of secrets that are very similar to raft like the radio between songs there are robots speaking or animations that are rare. Its visible that the games are connected not just in secrets but in one file of the game there are recordings and in one of them there it says something about raft and people think that they are on that planet maybe before or after raft happens
I think if raft devs want to see the game succeed they need a second game and better graphics or mini stories maybe a new map and really rare upgrades like a steel boat
iirc... considering how iw had the scrap ducky on my raft wayyy before i got to balboa... maybe even before the radio tower... i guess i got pretty lucky huh...
I have the golden robot on my last run of the game. I had no idea it was that rare. I think I actually trashed one of them because I didn't want 2 of them. LOL 1st world problems.
Love how I managed to get all of the rare items and spawns multiple times in a row without knowing they where rare and now that I di I never see them I've gotten multiple golden robots across the few saves now I can't get one only reason I didn't get the mask was because I didn't know that those things did anything XD Aside from the rare boat island hidden room and those boxes on the story boat I only just figured those out
For the room below the crane controls, my friend and I saw it but decided to get it later. Well, the place flooded and we thought the crane wouldn't work anymore, but it did, so we got to work with one of us directing and the other moving. After maybe 10 minutes and little progress, we realized you could just slip into it by making the empty spot there lmao. Felt like such a dummy

You don't just "hit" the story islands at random though
weirdly im on my first major gameplay , and the HELP island spawned 3 Times now , I have 3 Radios , and it starts beein a party boat

In vasgatsan( the big boat) you can also reached the top by building your raft over it with leaf ramps

Just realised I have the golden robot and didn't pay attention to it at all!
I somehow got the captain's island as my second island + fished three ducks over the first 50 hours
3:42 when I saw this I thought "woah I better try this it sounds cool" I grabbed a banana from a chest and it literally happened the first time.
Ooh! I had no idea the golden robot was so rare. We found one ages ago and thought "huh, that's cool", and just stuck it on a shelf.

There are some of the healing things in air pockets near the shark boss and it's light on every floor.
on veruna point in the boss rooms are 16 openings with air and some of them contain golden heal stuff
