That’s weird. The only thing I can think of is try to reload the game when you’re in the cave meaning go back to the main menu and go back in maybe it’s just not loading properly and that should fix it. Hope it helps
@explorationofgames I should probably clarify, I mean, the water part is pitch black with the crystals glowing, but they're not acting as a light source, so I can't really see the walls, etc, but I finally managed to stumble through it. I agree it must be some kind of glitch, as I previously went through there, and it was fine. I'll test it again next time I'm on.

Only the ones with the artefacts in them

Are you on ark evolved? If so then maybe the cave is only on ascended scorched earth
