I will say this about Santos. He’s pretty good on the mic, but nothing special. However, his facial expressions and body language are top tier. His promo on Smackdown was an above average promo that was made phenomenal by his visable emotion when he talked.

This missing thing is resolution. No storylines end. It just becomes the beginning of the next storyline. Damage control gets new members and becomes the baddasses they deserve to be. But that’s not the end. It immediately becomes the when do they turn on Bailey story. We are constantly getting pushed to the edge, but never get release. The usos split up and Jimmy changed brands and Jey is on drugs or something. But that wasn’t the end of a legacy. It was just a stepping stone to Jimmy’s solo push and the lead up to WM 40. When was the last time a story just ended. Full stop. And we as fans got to sit in it. Just deal with the ramifications and what it means. You can’t always be on the edge. Sometimes ya needs to finish the story.
I don't know if I'm buying Solo as a credible threat. He's like a downgraded version of Umaga. What ruined Solo for me was his generic and lackluster promo against John Cena. You could clearly see Heyman trying his hardest to get Solo over, but it seemed like the crowd didn't care about him.
The thing is that Solo was over in NXT as a babyface. He was cool enough that he didn’t need to talk but he still talked when he needed to and he wasn’t just an Umaga clone. I think if WWE want Solo over they should look back at how he was in NXT

I wish they did a more soft heel turn promo with santos where he stuck to his guns (hypocritically ofc) that he wants what’s best for his family (Legado del phantasma) and kind of build on that in that it was a mistake to follow Rey In the first place. Instead of what we have where he goes Uber heel saying Rey is trash and I needed that title, etc. It’s a small tonal shift it’s just I feel the most successful heels are more antiheros and are the type where you boo them, but they kinda have a point. It just felt like his turn is just pure selfishness, which may get old quick and send down to jobberdom after this story is over. A lot of time left to prove it wrong though
Don't mind Cody making the save, since he was briefly hinted as talking to Aldis earlier in the show. The problem is they never addressed it on RAW as to why he made the save, beyond Cole saying "Here's a man who has issues with the Bloodline!" At this point all the top babyfaces do. And LA Knight should cut a promo saying while he appreciates the save, he didn't ask for it nor doesn't need it. Since his character gives off more of an anti-hero/badass vibe to Cody's pure babyface. The problem is LA Knight has already beaten Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa clean on Smackdown. My guess is that they have him face Solo at the PLE and maybe lose due to interference from Logan Paul. They pivot him away from Roman and it frees up Cody to begin the rematch build.
I agree with what you’re saying and I do expect Randy Orton to be the fifth member in Cody Rhodes team but I will say as well WWE does need LA Knight to do something at survivor series. Because if they just leave him out without having to do anything it will make them look like an afterthought. Hopefully they have something planned for him for the pay-per-view.

I can tell what was missing: 1. Some Championship Gold. The only thing that had to deal with Title gold was the No.1 Contender and that was for a quick build for next weeks SD. The only Belt we saw is on Iyo and it seems like nobody is interested, because the Wargames Match is bigger than the title? 2. Story-Progression: Becky for Wargames and Escobar turning his back on the complete LWO. That is the whole progression and it was predictable. Other things felt dragged for no reason besides to fill time. Watched SD with a friend and we made fun of the Heyman-Promo, that if you would have turned that promo into a drinking game hearing "John Cena" would turn into alcohol poisoning. Don't get me wrong, had fun, but the show had some serious dragging. Better cut some minutes from the promos and get some talent sitting in catering for weeks some TV-time.
What they could do is reveal LAKnight as the 5th member on raw and then the bloodline attacks LAKnight. Theres no storyline with LAK and Judgement day other than him being a top face. This leaving team Cody without a 5th member and the reveal at war games would be KO or if Randy is ready. KO or Randy would make more sense than LAK in this war games match.
One of my biggest issues with SmackDown is the thing WWE seems to be known for to much reruns. DMG Control seems one of the best parts of the night. LA Knight kind of gets hurt from being booked to do the same old match. He seems to face Jimmy or his cousins again and again. Cody needing to run out doesn't come off as strong for LA Knight. It is boring and very repetitive. I love LA Knight and it is hard as he in one year basically face the whole SmackDown roster. So the thing is how to make each encounter feel refreshing and new. Also, it is hard to believe the stakes when you don't see Jimmy or anyone else in the bloodline going down and staying down. It is hard to see the WWE finally going okay we are ending the bloodline given people can't stand it at least as a general basis goes. I really hope WarGames is good, but it is hard to think that the WWE will manage to come up with a good show.
Here me out: judgement day loses the tag titles to the profits so that if they lose at wargames they don't have any lose ends if they betray Damien priest,but I would also like their reign to be longer
Missing something is too vague. We just need to admit that every “universal champion” either is too lack luster or never shows up. It’s the same thing with Brock, Roman, Wyatt, and rollins. In Roman’s case. He doesn’t appear enough. It’s cool that he doesn’t appear a lot but when he doesn’t appear a lot and only wins matches via interference. It really diminishes how prestigious his title and appearances are. Gunther has the most prestigious title considering how many matches and wins he’s had without having imperium interfere all the time. Roman either has to drop the title to someone who will be a regular on the brand they are in or become more regular especially for PLEs. Also as the “Universal” champion he should be defending his title against contenders from every brand. Sure it’ll be more predictable that NXT or the opposing brand will not win but it will at least build credibility without damaging the contender’s momentum in their respective brand against others in said brand.
Honestly, I don’t think this proves LA Knight is the fifth member and here’s why. Number one, he doesn’t have any beef with judgement day if I remember correctly. Number 2, remember Cody still has beef with the bloodline he just didn’t had a rivalry with the bloodline for awhile due to his rivalry with Brock and judgement day. And number 3, LA Knight is still dealing with his rivalry with the bloodline. In my opinion, it doesn’t make any sense because why just add another member that hasn’t had any issues with the judgement day when that member is dealing with another rivalry? That’s why I think LA Knight isn’t the fifth member.
Since we know Roman is never showing up the next person to look too is Logan Paul but wait he also hasn't shown up for 2 weeks yet he's the US Champion

Something was missing? Everything seems to have fallen back into a repetitive, boring cycle. It's like we have been killing time for months now. Like they didn't pull the trigger with Cody at W39, so he's got to do random shit for a whole year to do it all over again a year later. Owens has been directionless. Sami kinda directionless. Rollins? Alright, but lack of credible heels have really hurt him. A few years ago, we didn't have any good babyfaces. Now we have no heels. Reigns never shows up. Bobby doesn't wrestle anymore. Theory and Waller are currently a Joke. The only decent heel now will be McIntyre. And he was a Face until recently. And he's also on RAW. So there's nothing on SmackDown. Solo's boring as Shit and so is Jimmy. No idea what the fuck is the plan going forward.
They NEED to stop introducing LA knight with music and a promo.. not setting up matches verbally. He needs to interfere with EVERYTHING bloodline. Back stage.. during their promos.. during their matches. They need to play the "thorn in the side" angle. The obsession angle. It's far too "plastic production" and I hope they get more raw with it. Watched SD with a friend and we made fun of the Heyman-Promo, that if you would have turned that promo into a drinking game hearing "John Cena" would turn into alcohol poisoning.
Don't get me wrong, had fun, but the show had some serious dragging. Better cut some minutes from the promos and get some talent sitting in catering for weeks some TV-time.
What they could do is reveal LAKnight as the 5th member on raw and then the bloodline attacks LAKnight. Theres no storyline with LAK and Judgement day other than him being a top face. This leaving team Cody without a 5th member and the reveal at war games would be KO or if Randy is ready. KO or Randy would make more sense than LAK in this war games match.

One of my biggest issues with SmackDown is the thing WWE seems to be known for to much reruns. DMG Control seems one of the best parts of the night. LA Knight kind of gets hurt from being booked to do the same old match. He seems to face Jimmy or his cousins again and again. Cody needing to run out doesn't come off as strong for LA Knight. It is boring and very repetitive. I love LA Knight and it is hard as he in one year basically face the whole SmackDown roster. So the thing is how to make each encounter feel refreshing and new. Also, it is hard to believe the stakes when you don't see Jimmy or anyone else in the bloodline going down and staying down. It is hard to see the WWE finally going okay we are ending the bloodline given people can't stand it at least as a general basis goes. I really hope WarGames is good, but it is hard to think that the WWE will manage to come up with a good show.

Missing something is too vague. We just need to admit that every “universal champion” either is too lack luster or never shows up. It’s the same thing with Brock, Roman, Wyatt, and rollins. In Roman’s case. He doesn’t appear enough. It’s cool that he doesn’t appear a lot but when he doesn’t appear a lot and only wins matches via interference. It really diminishes how prestigious his title and appearances are. Gunther has the most prestigious title considering how many matches and wins he’s had without having imperium interfere all the time. Roman either has to drop the title to someone who will be a regular on the brand they are in or become more regular especially for PLEs. Also as the “Universal” champion he should be defending his title against contenders from every brand. Sure it’ll be more predictable that NXT or the opposing brand will not win but it will at least build credibility without damaging the contender’s momentum in their respective brand against others in said brand.

Honestly, I don’t think this proves LA Knight is the fifth member and here’s why. Number one, he doesn’t have any beef with judgement day if I remember correctly. Number 2, remember Cody still has beef with the bloodline he just didn’t had a rivalry with the bloodline for awhile due to his rivalry with Brock and judgement day. And number 3, LA Knight is still dealing with his rivalry with the bloodline. In my opinion, it doesn’t make any sense because why just add another member that hasn’t had any issues with the judgement day when that member is dealing with another rivalry? That’s why I think LA Knight isn’t the fifth member.

I'm very curious to why everyone keeps talking about this 5th member when isn't the war games match 4 members only per team? When we saw it in NXF one side was the Undisputed Era which only has 4 members... Am I mistaken here? I do remember there being 5 members in the previous war games PPV with The Bloodline but does it even have to be 5 members? Who was the 5th member for the Undisputed Era when they had their match? Maybe it's just 4 members

Something was missing? Everything seems to have fallen back into a repetitive, boring cycle. It's like we have been killing time for months now. Like they didn't pull the trigger with Cody at W39, so he's got to do random shit for a whole year to do it all over again a year later. Owens has been directionless. Sami kinda directionless. Rollins? Alright, but lack of credible heels have really hurt him. A few years ago, we didn't have any good babyfaces. Now we have no heels. Reigns never shows up. Bobby doesn't wrestle anymore. Theory and Waller are currently a Joke. The only decent heel now will be McIntyre. And he was a Face until recently. And he's also on RAW. So there's nothing on SmackDown. Solo's boring as Shit and so is Jimmy. No idea what the fuck is the plan going forward.
