What it all boils down to is, we have to stop adding to God's word, and also, stop taking away from it. Speak the word only, not personal opinions! God's word will stand above everything else!
This was a great loving approach to this delicate subject thank you Pastor Matt for being so honest as to who you are and the validity of Gods word in everything life tries to throw our way. Jesus is mighty to save absolutely! This has helped God be with you
This was one of the most hopeful messages I've heard ever. I pray that I could meet a pastor just like this and if anyone knows how to get ahold of their Ministry I'd appreciate it they could somehow let me know God willing.
I have only ever been in love with two members of my own sex. (Otherwise, in a less restricted social environment, I tended to be more interested in women when it came to romance.) And that was only because they both reminded me of Christ. In other words it was their perceived virtue I fell in love with. I was adolescent and therefore ready to fall in love as a part of my emotional development. But at the most sensitive phase of my development had been placed in a totally homosexual environment. Presumably as yet another strategy in the 'homophobic agenda'.
Hard to understand Matt’s take on political decisions, as Christians there shouldn’t be a time where we put forth an effort to put someone in office who supports abortions, gay marriage etc regardless if you want government out of your life or not.
@@michaellee9483 Here are some: Dr. D. James Kennedy, Dr. R. C. Sproul, John MacArthur, Voddie Baucham, Dr. Don Paul Gray, Loren Larson, the Swaggarts. Yes, men who fall and repent are more than qualified to continue in their ministry.
You are too harsh in your assessment. Matt is gentler and probably less direct than some Christian pastors/teachers. But, he is not compromising the Gospel. And, a Q and A with pre-written questions involves a larger amount of discernment of the spirit of the person asking the question and the question itself which leads to more "personal opinion" if you will.
Oh no! "You sign a covenant..." !!?? Brothers and sisters, hear the word of the Lord: "Take no oath, but let your yes mean yes and your no mean no. Anything more than this comes from the evil one."
Not trying to be argumentative, but the full context of this passage is not to take a casual oath without the full understanding of the import of what you are doing.
This is one of the best (if not best) teachings I have listened to on this subject! Thank you
I greatly appreciate Matt's loving approach to these tough questions.
Tough? Why the fuck do you have to think for a moment about what homosexuals are doing?

Loving I found him to be more of a smart Alec!

...I brought you some books 💀 😂

wonder what kinds of texts he's sending females at this time in his career? enough he needs to step down?

False teacher. Master of mixing Biblical truth and personal opinion with a dash of yearning public acceptance.
Who do you consider an accurate teacher?

@dbrockelman36 can I ask what reason have you for your claim? And @cernel Joson too since you seem to support his claim

@@buckyoung4578 "Full context?" It's the Sermon on the Mount, my casually argumentative brother in Christ!
