I love how when you speak in a calm Scottish voice no one can understand a word you’re saying but as soon as you get angry then everyone can understand what you are saying all of a sudden. Great Job Pebbles I also like the modern day pumpkin king background.
I will say this: if I brought someone to an event - party or otherwise - to meet my friends and do something I liked, and they spent the entire time away from me, seemed annoyed that I tried to get them involved, and when I actually brought them to meet my friends they lasted for a couple of minutes and then tried to abandon me again, to someone who I could clock was definitely at least trying to make me think they were taking them from me, I would also be pissed. I think the listener owes them an apology, too. You don’t have to be a part of the scene to at least respect the point of you even being there, which is to try to understand where he’s coming from. He should trust the listener to make good choices but the listener should also be compromising too. And I say this as an introvert who hates parties and most crowded events.
I love how when you speak normally it's like the universal scottish "ok this person isn't scottish so I have to speak all elegant so they understand" but as soon as you're angry it's normal Scottish.
I love how you're not afraid to go for the real life theme, like how these two types of people aren't just going to magically mesh together but that doesn't need to be a deal breaker. Yes, we fought a bit, but we also reached an understanding and even ended up agreeing on something (although, I'll never say werewolves suck irl).
You did an amazing job as usual, I was a bit worried when I read the title but I think his feelings were a bit justifies. I might be in the minority but I didn't like the listener in this. I am an introvert and I don't like parties but I thought they were very rude to their boyfriend after only meeting with there friends for like a minute. I probably wouldn't even be away from my boyfriend the whole time because I'd be so shy and uneasy I would need to be around someone I know.
Yeah I was kinda sad they didn't get to meet his friends. Jealousy is not a great look, but neither is avoiding your bf and his friends when you're there to get to know them
I’m with you! if I brought someone to an event specifically to meet my friends and see my usual scene, and they not only completely ignored me for a couple of hours and then when I found them had to be basically forced to go meet my friends - who they decided within only a few minutes they didn’t even like and asked to leave right after I introduced them - I would be pissed, and I would not be apologizing except for maybe overreacting at the werewolf (who I think was trying to antagonize them anyway)
@@britnicox3929 I agree, the werewolf seemed to be trying to over step there bounds. Why the heck did he come over to her while she was being introduced to other people. It's like dude go away.
Thank you! I was just coming to rant about this!! No one should be treated by their partner the way pebble was in this audio. The listener was rude, hurtful and still had the audacity to play the victim to the point of getting an apology. I'm an introvert, which it seems like the listener is supposed to be, and while I can manage to pull some extroverted behavior to the surface when I have to socialize, I sure as hell would not be leaving THE ONLY PERSON I KNOW at a party to go form my own group. Then proceed to be annoyed when said person finds me and wants me to spend time with them and their group. Like this is just completely ridiculous. Then to top it all off, they sat there and let their boyfriend talk down and degrade himself and convince himself he was completely in the wrong. 🤦♀️
Me: Y-yeah... Let's go t-to the party... Yay! *Softly as she is dressed as a victorian witch* Him: You don't look so convinced Me: Ugh! C-can I please retreat? ... I don't feel safe, I prefer to be reading my book o-or writing o-or.... Him: It will be fun Me: I-I guess so... *In the party* Me: *Seems to be lost* Him: Hey... You okay? Me: Can I leave... I think I've overwelcomed m-my stay... Him: O-oh C'me on, we've been only been 6 minutes here Me: *Pouts* Him: You'll enjoy it! Me: W-where is the food isle? Him: Ehh over there... Me: T-thanks *Kisses him quickly as she stays on the bench with the food throughout the whole party*

thinking the exact same thing!!! (also coming from an introvert) listener def owes them an apology more than speaker needed to apologize
I entirely agree 👍
I love the going full scottish

"I am the PUMPKIN KING"
OMG PUMPKIN NIGHT REFERENCE?!1??! :O
Okay but not checking the group chat and missing the themed costume memo is too relatable. I have like 50 unread messages I'm ignoring
At this point he's "our" boyfriend😢❤
