Implant pentru Refuz escapes the safe routine and constantly adventures beyond the comfort zone. For the past 21 years they've been broadcasting from the underground an incongruous second tone, meant to erode the omnipresent white-noise of the surface. IPR is one of the first names behind what's seen as the smart and creative reaction within Romanian music, that area of the cultural underground, of the alternate versions accompanying (like a rectifying seismic wave) the convulsions of a sickened giant social organism.
Since 1995 they've released 8 albums: Implant Pentru Refuz (1996), Permis Port-Sinucidere (1997), Culori (1999), Oameni Fara Fetze (2001), Monolith (2007), Otheroot (2009), Cartography (2015) & Acustic [Live@Unirii5] (2016)
Expressions of an evolution from hardcore-crossover to progressive-metal, each of them represents a spiritual step that they’ve experienced. The band members poured their souls into all of their creations and they have shared their deepest and strongest feelings with their fans.
