The album is wild , it’s got fast melodic punk songs, some hard rock songs and some really good slow songs, my favorite songs were 1981, Strange Days, look Ma no brains, Dillema, and I loved fancy sauce along with corvette summer cause it reminded me of cruising with my father when I was a kid in his corvette, just a catchy fairly simple song
the only reason the lyrics are wacky is because thats the only way to describe how we live in the present day explanation (?) "i got a robot and im f it senseless" - seggs dolls or similar things being popularized and fancy sauce is just about going crazy so the wack lyrics are part of it. think basket case but not basket case
Corvette Summer is generic, but the lyrics of the chorus won’t get out of my head. Living In The 20’s, I kind of get the robot part. With robots becoming a thing in the 2020’s. I’m sure there are weird ass people that want to have sex with them. It’s a cheesy lyric yes. I like the song. Coma City, the lyrics are just incredibly redundant. Instrumentation sounds like Dookie era Green Day to me. The thing that is good is the outro when the singing stops. The other good rock ones on the second half are good. The ballads I’m not a fan of on the second half I’m not a fan of so far. Father of a Son is amazing though!
3:33 The Johnny test intro is a theme parody of American Idiot actually hahah
LMAO
Maybe he was talking about the first intro

Suzie Chapstick is one of the best songs...

I think you should react to Revolution radio. It’s how modern Green Day should sound
