Eat your words ESPN, y’all glaze the Knicks all series long. It’s not Indy’s fault the Knicks were run down to the ground. The season is a marathon not a sprint. Respect to the Knicks for showing grit but the best ability is availability. Can’t knock the Pacers for having a roster with depth
We weren’t ran down most of our injuries were freak injures(players falling on ankles & legs)
I am a Knicks fan and I agree. Pacers had more "horses" but not a single horse was hurt either. That being said, we can't "glaze" over the fact the Pacers also played the Bucks WITHOUT a top 5 player in the WORLD and the cornerstone of their franchise. No Dame for half the series. A hobbled Middleton. Let's just be honest here, it's been a fortunate run. There's a reason Knicks were 20-3 with OG and up 2-0 in the series with him.
@@TheAeroRising one of our key horses was out (Ben Mathurin) who averages 15ppg, but I get what you’re saying. Knicks had way more to deal with and I think they will be back with a vengeance. As far as Pacers playoff run, yes injuries played a factor in them getting this far but you expect them to not take advantage of it? A lot of Pacers fans didn’t expect them to make it this far but it is what it is. Let’s not forget Celtics played teams with key injuries as well.

I called Pacers in 7 before the series started and when the Pacers were down 2-0. Haliburton is an explosive player. You saw it at Iowa St, moreso in the NBA. The Pacers did the Knicks a favor. Tatum would have been unguardable, especially without Adunoby. Anybody who bet on the Knicks doesn't understand how things work.

The Knicks lost this series when Anunoby went down. And even with him, they may have not won last night the way the Pacers were shooting. If he had not gone down, however, I don't think it would have gotten to Game 7, but we'll never know. I'm proud of this team - they played their hearts out. Nobody is overcoming that many injuries - they had one starter left when Anunoby went down - show me another team with that kind of depth.

No. Literally, the pace of play, the total number of trips up & down the court, the passing rotations around the half court offense and picking up 94 feet by the 2nd unit are the 2024 version of when the no-huddle spread offense hit college football with RG3. Did i mention the 3 pointers…
Dame, Giannis, Brunson, OG, Hart all missed time unable to continue medically. And Portis missed time due to ejection bc of frustration.
I am not suggesting that the 2024 Pacers are an all time, legacy NBA team but credit is due that opponents have not been able to outlast them…to this point.

Rick Carlisle is the coach of the playoffs. And thats coming from a die hard twolves fan. I judge coaches by what they do with what they got. This is one of the worst teams to make a conference finals in the last 20 years... They probably will win only one more game tops because the Celtics only have one of there top five players injured not four outta five like the Knicks had.

The knicks have other players who play less minutes, but score more points. The NBA has a lot of super stars who do not play the whole game, but Hart, who is not a super star, plays the whole game. This is Hart--he inbounds, receives the ball, and goes to one corner. The opponents know he can't shoot, so they leave him alone. No team can win without points on the board. Wake up, Knicks fans!!!
