- Delilah is ready to give birth any day, but much to Carole’s dismay, Lisa and Stevie both seem preoccupied with other things. Lisa lands the lead role n the school play and her rehearsals keep her away from Pine Hollow. Stevie’s hip, urban cousin, Morgan, comes to visit. Morgan always loved horses, but now she is different - only interested in clothes and boys and her sweet sixteen birthday party. Stevie feels torn between the horse world and the “normal” teenage social life that Morgan promises her. Delilah goes into a difficult labor and the birth of her foal, Samson, brings The Saddle Club girls together again.
No matter how much time passes, I will never forget this episode. The fact that they showed a real foal being born is incredible 🖤
I love how they all have their own color outfits 😂😂 Lisa is orange and red, Carole is pink and purple, and Stevie wears blue and green 😂😂
It really fits their personalities perfectly imo
I love how carol is so quick to forget that she wanted to quit riding forever a few episodes ago yet she has a go at steve and lisa for leaving for a few hours 😂😂

I feel bad for Veronica, the foal is a living memento of her horse, and she isnt even asked about its name. Sure she dont care about it but I think it would have been a sweet gesture to atleast ask.

Hang on does Veronica and Lisa even go to the same school? I know in the books Lisa goes to Willow Creek Junior High and Veronica goes to Fenton Hall. Anyways away from that when Veronica says it sickens her when some abuses their position because their parents work in that profession, when she does it herself in Series 2 episodes High Stakes Pt. 1 and High Stakes Pt. 2 when her dad makes an investment in Pine Hollow before going broke

In TV cut the foal borning I though was coincidence but because of censure of adult content🔞 also in show ponies, cut another scene that carolers father told to her don't show much body. Also adult content.

I get they're just kids and all but even when older, Carol is always so quick to be selfish then guilt trip the other two into feeling bad that they didn't do exactly as she tells them to do or doesn't simply get her way/what she wants and it's always their fault. I get characters need faults, but the gaslighting and selfish behavior is just way too often.
