  • ስሜትን መግራት ማለት ስሜትን በሚፈታተኑ የተለያዩ ሁኔታዎች ውስጥ ተረጋግቶ ውሳኔ መስጠት ሲሆን በተጨማሪም ስሜታዊ ሆነው የሚመጡ ሰዎችን በመረዳትና በማረጋጋት ወደቀልባቸው እንዲመለሱ የማድረግ ጥበብ ነው፡፡ ሰዎች ሆነ ብለው ስሜታዊ በመሆን እኛን ስሜታዊ ሊያደርጉን በሚሞክሩበት ሰዓት ሁኔታውን በማጤን የምንመልሰው መልስ ምን ጥቅም ወይም ጉዳት ያደርሳል ብለን በማሰብ በሳል ውሳኔ ማስተላለፍ ነው፡፡
    አሁን ባለው የስራ አለም ከእውቀት ባሻገር ስሜትን የሚቆጣጠር እና ማህበራዊ ክህሎት ያለው ሰው በጣም ተፈላጊ ነው፡፡ እውቀት ያለ ማህበራዊ ክህሎት የሚፈለገውን ውጤት ሊያመጣ አይችልም፡፡ ማህበራዊ ክህሎት ብቻውን ከእውቀት ጋር ካልተቀናጀ የሚፈለገው ውጤት ለያመጣ አይችልም፡፡ ስለዚህ ጭንቅላት ከልብ ጋር ተቀናጅቶ የሚደረገው ውሳኔ ብዙውን ጊዜ ውጤታማ ያደርጋል፡፡
    በተለያዩ ሁኔታዎች ውስጥ ስሜታችንን የሚፈታተኑ ነገሮች ሲኖሩ ልብእና ጭንቅላታችንን በማቀናጀት ከስሜት የነጻ ውሳኔ እንድናስተላልፍ ይጠበቃል፡፡
    በማንኛውም ሁኔታ ውስጥ ስንሆን ጌዜ፣ ቦታ እና ሁኔታውን ያማከለ ውሳኔ መስትት ይጠበቅብናል፡፡
    ስሜትን መግራት አራት ዋና ክፍሎች ያሉት ሲሆን እነሱም
    1. እራስን ማወቅ (Self awareness)
    2. እራስን መቆጣጠር (Self control)
    3. ሌሎችን ማወቅ (Social awareness)
    4. ከሌሎች ጋር መኖር (Social Skill)
    እራስን ማወቅ (Self awareness) ማለት ስሜታችንን መረዳት፣ የሚያስከፉንን፣ የሚያስደስቱንን ሁኔታዎች ፣ ጸባያችንን እና ማድረግ ያለብን እና የሌለብንን ነገሮች ማወቅ ነው፡፡
    እራስን መቆጣጠር (Self control) ማለት ምንም አይነት እና ስሜትን የሚፈታተኑ ነገሮች ሲገጥሙን ቅጽበታዊ መልስ ከመስጠት መቆጠብ ማለት ነው፡፡ መልስ ከመስጠታችን በፊት መልሳችን የሚያመጣውን ውጤት በማጤን ችግሮችን መፍታት ያስፈልጋል፡፡
    ሌሎችን ማወቅ (Social awareness) ማለት ከእኛ ጋር የሚኖሩ ወይም የሚሰሩ ሰዎች ምን አይነት ጸባይ፣ ድክመት ወይም ጥንካሬ እንዳላቸው በመረዳት ከእነሱ ጋር አንዴት መኖር እንዳለብን ማወቅ ነው፡፡
    ከሌሎች ጋር መኖር (Social Skill) ማለት ከሰዎች ጋር ለመኖር የተለያዩ ዘዴዎችን በመጠቀም የምንፈልገውን ውጤት ማግኘት ነው፡፡ የሰዎችን ባህርይ እና ሁኔታዎችን በመረዳት አብሮ የመኖር፣ የመስራት ጥበብ ነው፡፡
