Don't remember how much it was- but, everything was cleaned off using warm soapy water or just washed in the sink. Bought heads just for doing this so that wasn't an issue, and it wiped off the outside of the shells fairly easily. The inside of the drum shells where it's just wood are stained where the blood seeped through, some of the felts are stained as well
