You sing the Keiko, Wakana, and Hikaru parts, and even add in the (really high) Yuriko Kaida parts in the chorus. Great effort from you and your range is also not bad! You reveal the beauty of the harmonies in your covers. I am especially a fan of Kaori's intricate harmony work, though Hikaru is my favorite personality. (I meant to say "Keiko" not "Kaori")
Thank you! With this, I'd miraculously found a video at the time in TH-cam where someone had stripped the main vocal and just enhanced the harmonies. If I can find it, I'll link you.
AMAZING I LOVE THIS SONG! I’m working on covering this song now and trying to figure out all the complicated harmonies. I’m sure it won’t be as accurate as yours though haha. I wanted to ask, what is the most effective way to record several voice parts at once?
Thank you so much! ^^ And you can't record several vocal parts at once XD. That's literally impossible ha ha. I don't know what your recording set up is. But the way to do it is when you sing, use your headphones to listen to the backing track and record your voice alone using whatever recording software you use - be it a cheap usb mic into the pc or your phone. When that's done, use whatever program you use to add both the instrumental track and your vocal. Then save that. Then record yourself singing along to THAT and again, do the same, until you end up with a file with the instrumental and all the necessary vocals layered on top of each other. I'm assuming you are using audio recording software like Audacity like a lot of people do at the start - that's if you own any kind of mic that fits your pc. www.audacityteam.org/ If you don't use that and you have a usb or whatever mic, use it from now. The link is up above. Changing your recording set up to something like this will increase the quality of your covers, because you won't just be recording yourself singing along to the instrumental and it will improve the background sound quality a lot more. And if you don't have a mic and are just recording using your phone, use the same steps. JUST record your voice. Not the backing track and then add stuff in layers.
I tried audacity, but got very confused. I tried it with Maikaze. Somehow, my singing wasn’t aligning with the track. I also had to convert all my email files from m4a to wav. I’m using my phone microphone since I don’t have a professional one. I guess I’m not a high-tech person. Thank you for the nice advice though! Maybe I’ll give it a shot again someday ^_^
You can still layer instrumental tracks and vocal tracks in windows movie maker though, can't you? So still try and record just your voice with your phone and mash stuff together in the video stage if you can. If not, well, at least you tried.
Yep all your covers these days are really really really impressive! btw I have a question Neesan. I see you are writing "歌って見た" in your title these days. I feel from this, "Neesan watched this animation and tried to cover that theme song." Or you just want to say "I made a fan cover"? ”見た” means "saw" in Japanese. so if you just want to say "I made a fan cover","歌ってみた" is correct. "みた" in this word is subsidiary verb, and there is no appropriate kanji for this word. Like "Nihongo wo oboetemiru"="Try to learn Japanese." "E wo kaitemiru"="Try to paint a picture", this "みた" 's mean is near to "try to" "challenged to" If this your expression was intentionally, sorry for my rude post.
Thank you tiruno san! What happened was, I saw someone else wrote that and I copied it XD I knew it sounded the same, but I didn't realise the grammar implications >< Thank you for pointing this out! I will make the changes XD And thank you as always for listening ^^
