That Hit combo where you whiff the vanish is character specific but majority of the roster you can do it on. You just have to learn the timing. I also recommend using the diagonal slash more in neutral and not the horizontal one. Catches WAY more

At 19:10 the Hit player vanished because if Hit had continued the combo with jH, the combo would've dropped due to being too far away. I recognized it immediately because I do it all the time and thus know the pain all too well.
Hit definitely has a really inconsistent air game, but I mean it makes sense because almost every tool he has is better on the ground and is very limited in the air. I think making him more ground-based was their vision when deciding his kit.

so with Piccolo, his elbow can be faked by inputting 2 during it and he won't move backward; Bardock 2H'd your elbow because you didn't get the fake and instead got the actual input which takes a second to have a hitbox and does, in fact, put you damn near exactly where you started it minus a sideswitch on the L and M versions and staying on the same side with H.

For the hit combo it is character specific, like beerus' vanish loop combo. Should work on only medium slim bodies like blue Goku and adult Gohan and small bodies like gt goku

That little float backwards against the second player is normal for that move. Piccolo's 236L/M/H all do that, it's an attack. If you hold the button it doesn't do the attack and just lets you fly out of the corner (might be the other way around idk I don't play Piccolo a lot"

Hitting the like button is about as hard as reflecting Vegito you have to understand Lotus
For the Piccolo elbow move, you have to hold it to stop him for flying back

PC. I don't own an xbox.
To explain what happened at 11:21, demon elbow will try to hit the opponent from behind if the character model touches the opponent in any way. So since you were literally a millimeter into the frame, you went for the hit instead of just getting movement. If you were just a bit higher, Piccolo wouldn't have moved back to try and hit Bardock.
Edit: If you hold the input, you will get the slide without the elbow, as well.
I usually just hold the input then I get the slide without the elbow when I do setups with Piccolo it doesn’t work like that?
