The Fury is great for short rides and around town. Long rides need some modifications to the seat.

Well put! Having ridden both bikes (well, I had a 2010 road king so not exactly the same), I have to agree. Both bikes have their places. The fury sits low and has a great power to weight ratio -- super zippy and overall fun bike to roll around on. The road king is like a lazy boy on wheels -- ultra comfortable and great for longer rides.

Thank you for watching. If you haven’t ridden the 2014 and up touring bikes? You should! The difference between the frames makes all the difference. And the Rushmore 103 is a torque monster. All around zippy bike. That describes the Fury best! I’m going to steal that one from you. Lol.

@@StevyFaux Haha! I've had the pleasure of riding a road glide (and a few dynas) with the 103. Definitely agree!

Just sold a 2018 fatbob with the 107 and that was an experience!

@@StevyFaux no problem and I like your bike. I am contemplating getting this bike as a cruiser but i am still up in the air with the Suzuki Boulevard M109r. I have two sports bikes already and want a cruiser. What do you think?

It's me !! Having never ridden the Suzuki I would have to recommend the Honda. I am impressed every time I get on it. It is a very well made bike and it looks awesome. And it won’t break the bank so you can keep your sport bikes. 👍

Also, having owned sport bikes in the past... you can’t compare jumping on a bike and being in the stretched up-right position. Having no strain on your back or arms and being able to just sit and listen to the roar of a big v-twin engine under you. The vibration of the motor and road linking into one feeling, and at the twist of the wrist you can unleash holy hell of thunder and heart pounding exhaust notes that eco through every inch of the surrounding square mile.. and the whole time feeling one with the bike, like the sounds and the feelings are coming from your body not the machine that is under you... but as a part of your body.. that is riding my friend. And though i still love sport bikes.. I have never had that feeling while riding one.

Yeah I own a sporty 1200 and I enjoy long rides with her, but my lady likes when I take her on the road king better ride with no windshield.

Thank you for watching. At this time I am using the Hero 5 Black from Gopro, and the Giant Squid Mic. I got my set up from BlockHead. He has a video on it. And I will be doing one soon also. Here is the link to his video. th-cam.com/video/1z72R10Ah_Q/w-d-xo.html

If you find the Fury comfortable at all, you'd be stupid to even consider the Road King, unless you're a die hard Harley type of rider. The Fury (basically at stretched VTX) is a much more dependable bike and cheaper to maintain than a Harley. Parts are cheaper, accessories are readily available. You probably should've done your research about those after market pipes you mentioned before putting them on the bike. You shouldn't be scraping the pavement with your exhaust system. That's a piss poor design flaw right there.

The Fury is my actually my wife’s bike. We haven’t done anything to it everything was on it when we bought it. It has been a great bike and we both love it. You are right. It is much cheaper to maintain so far.

I have never ridden a fury. I do have a vtx1800r. In my case it has not been the reliable bike that my other hondas have been.
I agree the milwaukee 8 has a bad reputation. Sumping problems are what I should hear about.
